For some reason, we humans have a craving for all sorts of antiquities. We love learning about which is the oldest city on Earth; when and by whom were the first mechanical watches created, the first brewery built, the first rock painting made; how old is the oldest tree and the oldest stone. Sometimes behind these questions there is not only idle curiosity, but also scientific interest. We will talk about the oldest ice on our planet - where it can be found, what its age is and why we need it.
