A year ago, 11.03.2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) announced the beginning of the Pandemia of Coronavirus. The covid year showed not only the horrors of the disease and the heroism of doctors, but also the previously existing challenge: the tendency of people to believe in conspiracy theories and deny real problems. This, of course, is about Covid-dissidents.
For the first time in a long time in the information field, the taboo issue of health of mass consciousness is acute in the information field.
Protecting “their rights and freedoms”, Covid-dissidents forget that self-will may be their right until it comes into conflict with the rights of other people, especially their rights to life and health.
By the better or worst, Covid descendants are decentralized. But having common ideas, they are united in communities. These communities are less likely to be devoted only to the denial of Covid. More often they are continuations of other conspiracy communities - the same Qanon. Often, public-related publics have a nationalist color and attack official medicine from the standpoint of the "theory of the conspiracy of world elites."
The correspondent of the "New" tried to figure out who the Covid-dissidents are; What to do if your relatives and acquaintances share their ideas; And how a society can level threats associated with the denial of coronavirus and other dangerous diseases.

With Sergey Sergeyev, the creator of the popular Covid-dissident public, we meet in one of the sleeping areas of Moscow. He is engaged in cargo transportation, earns well, dresses in the casual style. He speaks calmly and measuredly.
To the epidemic atmosphere in the country, says Sergey, it is negative. Under the epidomation, however, he understands not the level of incidence, but a mask regime.
- Standing. Normal production. You watch videos about Haiti: like no one goes in masks. But it is Europe and the United States that are taken under control, ”he says. - The man fell, died, he was taken, burned, taken - there was none of this. Everything is quiet, calm. Only in the information field there is some kind of wave: so much was infected, so much died, so much recovered.
Sergey says that there are several levels of "understanding of the information of the world." “To understand the origin of coronavirus” can only be from the “position of global thinking”.
- When there was the first wave, there were three main versions. The first was voiced by a representative of the Armenian diaspora. He said that there was a redistribution of financial spheres of influence. The second version is Colonel Kvachkov, who stated that what was happening is the global military exercises of the world government. The third is German Sterligov, who said that the covid regime is introduced to make poisoned vaccinations and disposal part of the population. Whatever version is correct, they can be examined, disassembled. The reason corresponds, let’s say, a single religious worldview of this very world government.
Sergei calls several books that stated the "religious worldview of the world government." The New Gazeta will not publish their names in order to avoid "inciting hatred or enmity."
In the very existence of the world government, Sergei does not doubt for a minute.
He says that most of all the money of the world belongs to 50 corporations and that there is a conspiracy between them.
- It can be seen how it all [the situation with coronavirus] was illuminated in the media. When the virus went, three people died in billions of China. And suddenly they began to spread such insignificant news throughout Europe and in the USA. So, there is an organization that can instruct the media around the world.
Sergei Masku himself puts on “only when you need to go to the shopping center, and the guards get up and do not miss. “I went in, took off,” he notes.
The family of Sergey does not share his views. “My sister’s closest relatives work in the structures of this particular [medical] system. Naturally, they are entirely for a mask regime and observe. Than the bad influence of the world government. There are people in my family who stand for masks, for them it is normal to watch TV, to perceive the truth and worry about their health. They did not study that I studied. "
The ideas of Covid-dissidentiality are also popularized by many opinion leaders.
Former Participant of Dom-2 Victoria Bonya, tennis player Marat Safin, director Nikita Mikhalkov. The latter is the author of the noise (and memes) of a statement about “chipping” people using the vaccine by the founder of Microsoft Bill Gates.
In an interview with the YouTube channel, the showman Rustam Solntseva Clinical psychologist Julia Karandina said that for Celebrities, Covid-dissident statements are ordinary PR. At the same time, she noted that in such statements
"Stars" are often used in unreliable information, which is specially presented with intonation, designed to cause fear in the viewer.
Unfortunately (as often happens with HIV-dissidents), who themselves deny coronavirus are not protected from it. On October 16 last year, the famous blogger Dmitry Stuzhuk died in Kyiv, who throughout the pandemia called his subscribers “not to believe in Covid-19”. He died of coronavirus on the 11th day of illness, only two days before his death, writing that "this disease is not ephemeral and severe."
“Covid-dissidentiality, like other theories of a conspiracy, is a psychological phenomenon that has become widespread throughout the world,” says Denis Kondratyev, a psychologist of the Parabola psychology center. - Like many other phenomena, it has its own meaning, helps a person adapt to what the usual tools cannot be dealt with. I am sure that everyone here has its own set of reasons, I will list those that I meet most often.
Anxiety. The world is too large, there are too many events and processes that I cannot understand, which I cannot influence. Any explanation is why so, for what all this is done, it introduces certainty into my picture of the world, gives a feeling of control and thereby reduces anxiety. So calmer.
Uniqueness. The world is huge and populated, I “dissolve” in a multimillion -dollar metropolis, in social networks, I experience myself a grain of sand in the desert, indistinguishable from the rest. Having taken a position different from the majority, I regain uniqueness, declare myself, find my value.
Belonging. Paradoxically, it is important for me to be special at the same time and feel part of some group, community. I opposed the mainstream and this immediately get uniqueness, and become part of the "special circle" of those rare people who think just like me.
There are a lot of other difficulties and experiences (among them, powerlessness before what is happening, and anger for it, and the fault of loved ones and yourself for the fact that my life is not the same as I want), for the solution of which
The theory of conspiracy is a simple, and most importantly, effective protection tool.
What to do to loved ones? It is useless to try to convince: you will take away the straw from the drowning man, and the more difficult it is to “drowning”, the more desperate he will protect his position. Try to respect both his vision of the situation and his need for such psychological protection. If the dialogue in the rational field is possible, discuss the facts and their influence on you, and not fantasies about them, maintain critical thinking and goodwill. And, if there is no close doubt about the legal capacity, - regulate his behavior to the extent that it regards you personally. If a mask is needed to communicate with you, you have the right to demand this (or refuse to communicate). In the end, the epidemic will end, and the relatives and relations with them will remain. ”
On February 24, 4.2 million cases of coronavirus were officially identified in Russia. 84,000 people became victims of infection.
