The coordinator of Navalny's Murmansk headquarters spoke about the attack

Violetta Grudina, coordinator of Navalny's Murmansk headquarters, said that an unknown man attacked her and kicked her. Grudina wrote about this in her telegram channel.

According to her, the attack took place on Profsoyuz Street on February 23, when she was walking with a friend. The unknown person insulted her, then began to threaten Grudin. The coordinator decided to hide in a store nearby, but the man managed to kick her. As Grudina clarified to Mediazone, she was hit on the calf muscle.

After that, the attacker spat after the activist, went to the government building and disappeared.

The activist filed a complaint with the police. The Ministry of Internal Affairs promises to conduct an inspection under the article on the threat of murder or infliction of grievous bodily harm (Article 119 of the Criminal Code).

• On January 25 and 26, policemen came to Violetta Grudina's house to draw up protocols because of the protests.
• Because of the winter actions in support of Alexei Navalny, was opened a criminal case in Murmansk under the article on the involvement of minors in illegal activities (part 2 of article 151.2 of the Criminal Code). As part of this case, Violetta Grudina was interrogated, but in what status is unclear. After the interrogation, Grudina spoke about the attempts of the police to find those who were ready to write a statement against her.
• In the fall of 2020, the court fined Grudin because of the march on August 1 in support of the residents of the Khabarovsk Territory. At the same time, the case materials were twice returned to the police due to numerous violations in the preparation of documents.
