Two news from the Russian authorities surprised Krasnoyarsk. I'll start with the one that is not very. For many years, the regional authorities mysteriously talks about the upcoming era of gasification of the region.

It would look logical - to finally give the Siberians a little Siberian gas:

Tyumen has not yet been scooped up, but Krasnoyarsk has long been approved in the status of New Tyumen, the new oil and gas production center. However, the Krasnoyarsk residents suddenly showed their true prospects.

The released map of the two Russia - the border just along the western contour of the Krasnoyarsk Territory - is now abundantly commented:

The situation became known three months ago , but visualization always causes a surge in emotions.

And after all, the Governor of the USS did not reject gasification, even despite the fact that his own son mines coal (he is one of the beneficiaries of the coal section), and everything is on the corner here: both heat and current (the largest hydroelectric power stations give electricity to aluminum plants). The USS declared its readiness to accept the main gas, despite the family business.

Nevertheless, large Russia remains true to itself and its attitude to Siberia. Judging by the map, this is only a blind spot for the homeland, and for the state of the Russian Federation - a hole from which all sorts of nishtyaks are drawn for domestic politics and show -off for the external one. Well, people there should take care of themselves (the Krasnoyarsk residents and take care, filter the air - he is cleaner on the exhale).

But there is also good news, it applies to the second component of the smog, now and then the freezing over Krasnoyarsk - as soon as the calm or weak east and north winds are established.

Coal TPP A. Melnichenko, by the way, is not the main source of the smog. In the first place-Rusal, its Krasnoyarsk aluminum plant (KrAZ), whose share in air pollution by stationary sources is 45.4% in 2016 and 47.5% in 2018 ( data from Rusala itself).

KrAZ spoke about the championship at an environmental meeting in Krasnoyarsk and the president. In 2019, the city of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation recorded a sharp - on unprecedented 87% - an increase in the volume of emissions of pollutants. And KrAZ called the first.

From the coal TPP Melnichenko, the townspeople still have benefits: warmth and current.

What gives Krasnoyarsk KrAZ and the Krasnoyarsk hydroelectric power station, in addition to environmental troubles, it is difficult to say, the budget deductions of Rusala are increasingly invisible and make up only 0.36% of the regional budget

(12.7 million dollars per year - data published by the Rusalu itself).

So, the news appeared and widely dispersed through the media about the initiation of a criminal case against Rusal employees for pollution of the atmosphere (violation of the rules of operation of the gas -treatment equipment of Kraz and the leakage of hydrochloride in the air of Krasnoyarsk). There is no official confirmation of this, but there are no refutations, they informally confirm the news.

It looks, of course, for the Krasnoyarsk residents brightly: Sisyphus spreads his shoulders. Prior to this, such attempts at KrAZ collapse ended with administratives and funny fines. And now few people believe that, except for PR Radinova, the head of Rosprirodnadzor, this will result in something real. But the record amount of penalties, recently awarded to Norkel, brings new colors to the rubbed plot.

Krasnoyarsk, although he does not believe, is rooting for Radionov. In any case, she does not support the eternal fairy tales of the authorities, that in Smoga, the Baba Nyura stoves are to blame over Krasnoyarsk, as well as transport and not the relief. And some kind of climate.

It is noteworthy that recently the Rusala head company EN+ Group pomposefully announced its intention to achieve a zero balance of greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 and promised a reduction in emissions of the entire production chain, including aluminum production. The Detail Plan Lord Barker, heading En+, intends to submit in September 2021, on the eve of the UN conference on climate change. She will pass in Glasgow.

This is some kind of dust in the eyes. Driving by the nose of the world community, international institutions. In reality, an indicator of greenhouse gas emissions (less than four tons per ton of aluminum) does not mean anything about the environmental purity of the proper aluminum production of Rusal. Krasnoyarsk is not at all carbon dioxide, but carcinogens thrown out by Kraz, Benz (a) Pyro and other polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, resinly substances (pelvs) as part of electrolysis dust, fluorides, then a long list of all kinds of hazard of the first hazard. And the issue of these gases does not occur through chimney and treatment systems, these are low -rise emissions, they occur through the gates, windows and roofs of the workshops, through aeration lights of production buildings (“lampposts”). The townspeople are breathing. This is not taken into account, this is not included in the statistics of the fight against greenhouse gases. This is all that the city breathes and on what Rusal is rich in. And until 2025, like Gazprom, Rusal does not promise anything to the Krasnoyarsk residents at all. He fights global warming and destroys a millionth city.

Of the materials presented by Krasnoyarsk at public hearings , it reveals that now the legislation of the Russian Federation “Rusal” is violated and will be violated, in particular, the maximum permissible concentrations of gaseous fluorides and such carcinogen as Benz (A) Pyro are exceeded in the residential area. The achievement of technological and hygienic standards “Rusal” is only planned. And - only from 2025 (then, maybe Gazprom will change its cards). However, from the same Materials Rusal, it is quite distinctly revealed that even these no one satisfying the promises of Lukava.

Another circumstance is noteworthy. About the need for gasification of Krasnoyarsk who has just not spoke recently, who has not only been worried about this. And the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova, poking his colleagues with his nose in statistics on cancer, and a Soviet.

So “Rusal” not so long ago wanted to solve his problems at the expense of Gazprom. The company proposed to gasify the cities of its presence (Krasnoyarsk, Bratsk, Irkutsk), transferring their thermal power plants from coal to gas, which would allow (without closing the Rusal factories themselves and not even transferring them to other, environmentally acceptable technologies) to perform tasks to reduce emissions into the atmosphere within the framework of the federal project “Clean Air”.

All this was presented as a real plan of Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko, and she lowered him down into the relevant departments. And the head of Gazprom Miller spoke of a new gas pipeline to China not “past Siberia”, but “The power of Siberia is 2”, whose passing task is to combine the gas transmission systems of the East and West of the country and further gasify both the Krasnoyarsk Territory and other regions of Eastern Siberia.
