The producer of plant meat Beyond Meat has agreed on many years of cooperation with McDonald's and Yum Corporation! Brands owning nets Taco Bell, Pizza Hut and KFC. An agreement with McDonald's concluded for three years, with Yum! Brands - for several years, is indicated in the company's statements.

During this time, Beond Meat will be a vegetable meat supplier for McPlant burgers, a new plant -based burger, which is tested in several McDonald's markets around the world. Companies also plan to jointly develop other plant -based menu products, such as chicken, pork and plant -based eggs, as part of a wider McDonald's McPlant initiative.

McDonald's tested Beyond Meat Burgers in 2019. Since 2021, the network announced the start of McPlant sales in several markets. Former McDonald's Director General Don Thompson is a member of the BEYOND Meat board of directors.

As part of cooperation with Yum! Brands company will develop a product line for all company restaurants. In 2019, the Pizza Hut pizzeria has already tested the Beyond Meat pizza. It was possible to try it in Russia - such a pizza was prepared in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
