The reason for the mass poisoning of children in Krasnoyarsk could be violations of sanitary standards in the preparation of salads, admitted by the food supplier to schools, reports with reference to the press service of the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor on March 1. Interfax
In the Sovetsky and Oktyabrsky districts of Krasnoyarsk, more than 70 cases of infection of schoolchildren aged 7-14 years with yersinia infection with a preliminary diagnosis of pseudoturberculosis were registered.
Violations of sanitary standards have been identified at the food supplier: “The [Rospotrebnadzor] Administration has suspended the preparation of ready-made meals from raw vegetables without heat treatment in all schools of this catering organizer. A temporary ban was imposed on the activities of the food supplier, and the materials of the administrative case were sent to the court for consideration. The supply of unsafe products to educational organizations has been stopped.”
Information about the mass poisoning of students in kindergarten No. 303, schools No. 115, 144, 156 and others appeared in local public on February 26. The pupils of institutions felt sick, vomited, they had a temperature, headache and diarrhea.
The prosecutor's office announced an investigation.
According to the public procurement website, at the end of 2020, Razvitiye LLC received contracts for the organization of hot meals in the schools of the Sovietsky and Oktyabrsky districts of the city. The company signed contracts with the Municipal Institution "Center for Nutrition" signed contracts with the company for almost 170 million rubles. The firm was the sole supplier.
According to the Kontur-Focus service, Razvitie is owned by Evgeny Polyakov and Oksana Ilyenko.
At the same time, the website of school No. 144, which, in particular, reported on the victims, says that the food is ordered by the regional state budgetary institution "Center for Nutrition", which is headed by Valentina Polyakova. It is this state institution, in particular, that orders vegetables. On February 8, 2021, it signed a contract for 4.4 million rubles for the supply of tens of tons of potatoes, carrots, beets and onions with LLC Agricultural Enterprise Dary Malinovki. The same company received a similar contract for 1.75 million rubles at the end of December 2020.
As follows from the documents on the school website, on March 1, was completely the menu containing raw vegetables replaced. All dishes replaced had carrots and beets.
