In the Police Department N 75 in St. Petersburg, a detainee died for a ride without a driver’s license, 29-year-old Alexei Kustov, reports Fontanka . According to experts, the man died of cardiac arrest.

According to the publication, the man was healthy and sober. And on the body of the deceased, relatives found bruises and abrasions.

On the evening of February 23, the traffic police called Alexei Kustov to draw up a protocol under Article 12.7 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, which allows to be sent under administrative arrest and therefore considered by the courts. At the same time, Alexei notified that the Police of the Nevsky District will institute criminal proceedings under Article 264.1 of the Criminal Code for violation of traffic rules by a person subjected to administrative punishment.

“I don’t understand at all how two punishments for one crime,” the bushes were perplexed in a message sent to his sister and girlfriend.

The young man was taken to spend the night to the police before the trial. The traffic police also took the case materials to the police department N 75.

Kustov’s lawyer Lyudmila Kyntertere notified that the client was spent in the department, and in the morning he would be taken to court. The lawyer tried to understand the meaning of the forcible holding of a person who is not hidden and voluntarily comes on call. “We would have appeared in court on our own,” she exhorted the police.

The next morning, Alexei did not appear on the network. At 10:00, the sister Galina dialed the phone of the 75th department, introduced herself to her mother.

Relatives were given a certificate that Alexey died of heart failure.

At the same time, on the body of Kustov, according to Fontanka, there were traces of violence: an extensive hematoma was visible on his forehead, traces of the application of force on the neck, on the cheekbone - bruising. According to his lawyer, he certainly did not have damage to his face before the detention.

According to the publication, when delivered to the 75th department, Kustov had a conflict with the traffic police officer. The Petersburger was ordered to fasten, he answered with aggression. In the police department, Alexei showed intransigence: he refused to give the passport to an assistant to the duty officer until he introduced himself, and demanded to show the administrative detention document when he was announced that he would spend the night in the department.

In 2012, employees of the 75th police department beat 15-year-old Nikita Leontyev, detained on suspicion of robbery. The teenager died in an ambulance. The deputy head of the 75th department Oleg Prokhorenkov received nine years of colony, his colleague Alexei Malykh died before the sentence, and the district police officer Denis Ivanov concluded a deal with the investigation and received 6.5 years in prison.
