Yaroslavl region will buy tactile 3D portraits of Putin, Stalin and Trump for blind schoolchildren

Officials of the Yaroslavl region included the estimate of the school "Tactile 3D portraits" by Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump, as well as the leader of the Bolsheviks Vladimir Lenin and the dictator Joseph Stalin as "Equipment for blind and visually impaired students." Portraits of these politicians "Open Media" were found in the design documentation for the construction of a secondary school in the village of Vochaznikovo, Yaroslavl region.

On February 26, the corresponding auction was announced by the State Customer Unified Ecazennaya Institution, subordinate to the construction department of the Yaroslavl region. The starting price of the contract is 374.755 million rubles. And the source of financing public procurement is the budget of the Yaroslavl region.

"Tactile 3D portraits" and tactile reproductions of paintings are included in the local estimate of technological solutions for schoolchildren with disabilities and disabilities. Inside the estimate itself, tactile portraits are placed in the section "Equipment for blind and visually impaired students." In total, there are 12 names in the list of portraits. In addition to Putin, Trump, Lenin and Stalin, Empress Catherine II, poet Alexander Pushkin, physicist Albert Einstein, the founder of the international letter system for the blind Louis Braille, the first cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin and the last Russian emperor Nicholas II, appear there. In addition, the authors indicated in the list the names "Mao C" and "Tolstoy", implying, obviously, the first chairman of the People's Republic of Mao Zedong and writer Leo Tolstoy. The cost of a set of 12 portraits is estimated by an estimate of 26,468 rubles.

Volumetric tactile portraits and copies of works of art are a stately help in the rehabilitation of the disabled, said the head of the press service of the All -Russian Society of the Blind (OS) Evgeny Kalashnikov. In the list of personalities indicated in the estimate, he does not see anything strange.

“Why not? A blind man hears how the president says, the head of a large country. And how he looks, you can understand, only by feeling with his hands. This kind of portrait is a wonderful thing to feel who your president has, to feel historical figures,” explained Evgeny Kalashnikov.

Tactile portraits of all persons indicated in the estimate for the construction of the Voshchazhnikovsky school are present in the assortment on the Tiflocenter website of Vertical - a manufacturer of equipment for blind people. The company sells convex images not only of the Russian leader, but also of other modern politicians: German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the fifth president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov.
