In St. Petersburg, the number of hospitalized with coronavirus is growing, doctors say. So far, patients with Covid-19 are officially accepted in only 11 hospitals. One of them-the Mariinsky Hospital-suspended taking due to the outbreak of the disease in the non-infectious department.

At the Pokrovsky hospital, lines from ambulances are noticed. According to the MIBS sorting center, since the beginning of September, more than 170 people have been checked every day in St. Petersburg from the beginning of September. In Smolny, they promise if necessary to reprofile hospitals under the coronavirus "in a matter of days."

Yes. This can be seen even according to official statistics: in September in St. Petersburg, for the first time since July, more than 200 cases of coronavirus per day were revealed. Since September 8, the growth of infected ones lasts around 200 per day.

In September, Petersburgers began to be examined more often on pneumonia, it follows from the data of the MIBS sorting Covid Center. There, patients undergo examination of CT, according to the results of which they are sent to the hospital or for home treatment. From September 1, MIBS is checked from 170 to 194 people daily, in 30-50 % of cases of pneumonia are confirmed. MIBS had the same indicators in June-July.

Smolny also confirms the incidence increase. However, the vice-governor Evgeny Elin says that this is “expected under the influenza epidemic”, which “is not critical in nature”.

The coefficient of coronavirus spread, which shows how many people can infect one sick, by September 16 - 0.96. Similar indicators were in the city in late June, as well as in mid -August.

The doctors of the Pokrovskaya, Alexander, Botkin and Hospital of St. George confirmed “paper” that they observe the growth of the number of hospitalizations in September.

On September 10, a queue of several ambulances lined up in the Pokrovsk hospital. The institution itself told Fontanka that now from 40 to 60 people came to them daily, in August this number was from 10 to 12 people.

The doctor of the Pokrovsky hospital anonymously told Paper that the ambulance was also on September 14. According to him, by the middle of the month there were no empty seats in his department, spare beds were put up in the corridor.

An employee of the Botkin Hospital says that they "do not grow very much the number of sick, but is growing." The Aleksandrovskaya doctor also notes the growth of hospitalized, "as in early July." Only a physician from the Hospital of St. George says that he did not notice the growth of patients with coronavirus: according to him, "really verified patients are less and less."

Patients with coronavirus are now taken in 11 institutions. This is the Botkin Hospital, hospital No. 18 named after Semashko, children's hospital No. 5 named after Filatov, Hospital of St. George, City Bollard No. 20, Pokrovskaya Hospital, Alexander Hospital, Mariinsky Hospital, as well as a Skvortsova-Stepanov Psychiatric Hospital and others.

On Monday, September 14, 275 people got into the hospitals, but in Komzdrav it is noted that at the beginning of the week there is always a maximum of hospitalization.

The Health Committee promises that, if necessary, it will reproduce hospitals under the coronavirus in “few days”. “The committee will flexibly approach the issue of re -profiling. It is not worthwhile to keep the bunks under Covid, ”the press service notes. In particular, in the case of the second wave, Smolny promises to again use the hospital in LenExpo, and later - the new building of the hospital for war veterans.
