The co-owners of the Fix Price chain of stores, Artem Khachatryan and Sergey Lomakin, became dollar billionaires after the company entered an IPO (initial public offering of shares). This is evidenced by Forbes calculations.
The magazine estimated the fortune of each of them at $3.4 billion. Bloomberg wrote about 3.6 billion.
Fix Price listed its securities on the London Stock Exchange at a price of $9.75 per share. Before the placement, Lomakin and Khachatryan each owned 354,067,500 shares (41.66%) of the companies; now they each own 301,151,876 shares (35.43%). Thus, during the IPO, each of them sold 52.9 million shares and earned $516 million, Forbes calculated.
Earlier, the Fix Price network, whose securities will begin trading on the London and Moscow exchanges from March 10, 2021, announced that it would raise $2 billion during the IPO.
Interfax wrote that this is the largest IPO of a Russian company since 2010, when Rusal raised $2.24 billion as part of its initial public offering.
