On the afternoon of March 9, a Porsche driven by Russian hockey player Denis Kazionov crashed through the wall of a parking lot in the River Park residential area on Kolomenskaya Street in Moscow. According to eyewitness photos and videos , the bumper and front wheels of the car were left hanging in the air.
The driver of the car lost control, the Moscow Department of Transport reported . Hockey player Denis Kazionov told Sport24 that at that moment his wife and child were in the car with him. The hockey player said that he lost control because of the slippery concrete floor:
We pulled up, I started to slow down before turning and entering the parking space, and she didn't slow down at all. The floor is smooth, it's concrete, you know, like in shopping malls. And it's also covered with snow. I started to brake, and she didn't do anything, she just rolled and that's it. That's how we got to the wall. We were just in incredible shock.
No one was hurt during the incident. The car, which was stuck in the wall, was pulled out by specialists from the Traffic Management Center.
