In Primorye, the hunter received 10 months conditionally for the murder of a resident

Three residents of the Primorsky Territory were convicted of accidental murder of a person during illegal hunting. All defendants were fined, and the shooter received 10 months in prison. This was reported by the press service of the regional prosecutor's office.

The court established that in May 2020, at night, three friends illegally hunted a Toyota Hilux Surf car in the Olginsky district. They rode along the road and tracked animals with the help of a thermal imaging sight on a carbine.

The hunters took to the beast of a local resident hiding in the forest. One of them fired a targeted shot, from which the victim died. Having discovered the murdered man, the defendants disappeared from the scene of the crime.

The court found them guilty of illegal hunting using transport and preliminary conspiracy. Two were fined 550 thousand rubles. The shooter is also found guilty of murder by negligence. His court fined 520 thousand rubles and appointed 10 months in prison. In addition, all three are deprived of the right to engage in amateur and sports hunting for a term of two years.
