Kuzbass: The Government will pay off debts to the mine officers

The Russian government will allocate more than 200 million rubles to pay off the salary debt to employees of the alest of the Aleksievskaya minute mine in the Kemerovo region. This was stated by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. According to him, people should get money "as quickly as possible." He instructed officials to "strictly control so that such cases would not be repeated."

Mishustin discussed the problem of salaries in the "Aleksiyevskaya" wage arrears with the regional governor Sergei Tsivilev during his visit to Kemerovo. Despite the fact that the enterprise has been taking into account bankruptcy proceedings since 2017, 196 people have been working on it, and some employees have been transferred to other mines. The company's property is put up for auction. Kuzbass authorities expect to restore the work of "Aleksievskaya".

The government also approved the program of socio-economic development of the Kemerovo region for the next four years. Its implementation is necessary for 51 billion rubles. Mishustin has already instructed to allocate 2 billion rubles to the region for the construction of a hospital in Kuzbass, the development of the Sheregesh complex, and the laying of main water supply systems.

Earlier, the miners of the billpoint mine "Aleksievskaya" gathered signatures under the appeal to the federal authorities and President Vladimir Putin, which demanded to return the salary debts. The latest payments at the enterprise were in August 2020, then 60% of the debt per March was closed. The total debt to the miners (both abbreviated and working) - about 200 million rubles.
