
The persecution of Soviet power to the Russian Church was such that it was not to say about their faith, but even silently follow it as a feat. The new martyrs and confessors, glorified in the face of the saints did not come: believed, prayed and meekly went to their Calvarys.

Holy Martyr Adrian TroitskyAdrian Troitsky is the son of a deacon from the village of Bialansky Chistopol district of the Kazan province. After graduating from the Cheboksary Theological School, he entered the Cheboksary City School, but did not graduate from the latter. In 1890, 18-year-old Adrian Troitsky passed an exam for the psalmist, and in 1893 he was a teacher and entered the Solyanovsk Church School; At the same time, he acted as a psalmist in the Mikhailo-Arkhangelsk church in the city of Cheboksary. In 1897, he was drafted into the army. At the end of the service life, in 1899, Adrian Troitsky entered the Psalmist in the Pokrovsky church in the city of Cheboksary.
In 1902, he passed the exam for the deacons of the commission at the Kazan Theological Seminary and in 1903 was ordained a deacon. From 1904 to 1910 he served in the temple in the village of Pestretsy Kazan district. In 1910, he passed exams for the priest’s position and in the same year he was ordained a priest and appointed rector of the Trinity Church in the village of Mikhailovsky Tsarevokokshaysky district of the Kazan province (now the village of Surts of the Medvedevsky District of the Republic of Mari El), where he served before his arrest in 1937.
Prior to the prohibition of the Soviet power of the teaching of the Law of God, he was in different years the law teacher at the Surt two -year school of the Ministry of Education, at the Counselory Zemstvo School, at the Surtovsky Craft School, the Head and Law Teacher of the Blessings of the Milady School.
In 1913 he was appointed senior assistant to the Tsarevokokshai dean.
In 1918 he was arrested on suspicion of participating in the princess uprising. However, the prosecution was not confirmed, and the priest was released after two weeks of being arrested. Subsequently, he was deprived of electoral rights, was taxed by excessive taxes. In 1919, an investigation was again begun in relation to him. In conditions of persecution for faith, the priest proved himself as a firm confessor of Orthodoxy, urged believers not to depart from God and His Church. The parish he was one of the first decided to join the Krasnokokshay Orthodox Directorate of Starochnikov organized in 1925, Father Adrian was an indispensable participant in the assembly of the clergy of those years.
In 1935 he was erected to the rank of Archpriest.
On December 28, 1937 he was arrested and imprisoned in the city of Yoshkar-Ola. Among other things, he was accused of creating a counter -revolutionary group, the attachment of parishioners with exorbitant tax, conducting work to “decompose” the collective farm, agitation against elections to the Supreme Council.
Father Adrian did not plead guilty, saying: “I did not carry out any counter -revolutionary work. I did not cover the bread taxes of believers. Bread was gathered by the decision of the community of believers. "
On February 13, the Troika of the NKVD sentenced her father Adrian to be shot. Archpriest Adrian Troitsky was shot on February 15, 1938 at 9 pm and buried in a common unknown grave.
