The life and death of Vera Pekhteleva - a girl who was killed for three hours in a Kemerovo apartment, where the police never arrived

In January 2020, in Kemerovo, the former boyfriend brutally killed the 23-year-old Vera Pekhteleva. The neighbors who heard the screams of the girl tried to call the police many times, but the outfit never arrived; When the door was broken, it was too late. In 2013, the head of the Kiselevsky Avoski children's studio Valentina Bisirova called the police and offered to arrange a concert for employees.

"Avoski" is a local attraction of Kiselevsk, a hundred thousandth town near Novokuznetsk. Vera Pekhteleva was very talented. For the first time, she saw a slender blond girl Bisirova in the children's camp "Light", where 12-year-old Pekhteleva won a song competition. “I look, she is so active, so cool,” recalls Bisirova. - And she also has a beautiful voice! Her soul sings on stage, she is very artistic. I knew that she was engaged in another teacher whom I respected. Then he comes: “I want to deal with you, Valentina Ivanovna.” “My dear, but you already go to another person.” And she: “If you do not take me, I will not sing at all!” You see, there was a rod in it. I decided - and that’s it. ”

So Vera Pekhteleva became one of Bisirova's favorite students. Together with the "Avoski" she regularly performed at charitable concerts - in orphanages and for veterans; Even when Pekhteleva graduated from school and left Kiselevsk, in the summer she came to her hometown to participate in the concert.

“We have everything beautiful, everything with good voices, but it somehow happened that it was worth her on the stage, and all the cameras immediately on her,” the teacher recalls. “But I had 800, 1,500 people in the show programs.” The video has been preserved: Vera performs at a concert on the occasion of Victory Day. The choice of the song is not the most typical: “I am a living river” Evgenia Vlasova, moderately popular in the early 2000s, a pop-number about parting. Sixteen Pekhteleva, but the performance looks unexpectedly adult.

When Avosek was called to speak for the police, Pekhteleva, of course, also went on stage. “We got up at six in the morning, at eight we were already on stage,” recalls Bisirova. - We did it with such respect and gratitude! Children sang, Vera sang. I said [policemen]: “Thank you, you are doing this good, you are protecting us.”

In the photographs, she stands in an embrace with the police and sincerely smiles: children thank law enforcement officials for hard and dangerous work.

“Then it never occurred to me ...” Bisirova continues. - If it happened in our city, Verochka, maybe they would have saved it? I don't know. The girls sang, I said, "guys, what worthy officers we have." So what? What happened?

On January 14, 2020, in Kemerovo, Vera Pekhteleva was killed for three and a half hours by the former young man Vladislav Kanyus. The neighbors tried to call the police seven times, but no one came.

The history of Avosek is typical of Kiselevsk: the mining town has slowly declined in recent years. There is still a MFC and a hospital, but there is no longer a funeral bureau - for this we must go to the neighboring Prokopyevsk. So the mother of Vera Pekhteleva Oksana does not work in Kiselevsk. Every day she gets up at half a year in the morning and goes to the neighboring Leninsk-Kuznetskiy to manage a brigade in a cleaning company serving a local mining plant. Oksana is subordinate to 60 people. She gives her things to some, some convinces of coding from alcohol dependence, knows almost everything about the children and grandchildren of her employees. Jokes that she is like a mother for them.

The family generally means a lot for Oksana. She loves her parents-the lift of the Lieutenant Colonel and the mother-in-law of French; He says that they taught her how to treat people kindly and be a decent person. With the ex -husband Eugene, the father of Vera, they still communicate close, and when they got divorced 15 years ago, they tried to do this as non -human for their daughter. It turned out: Vera retained good relations with her mother, and with her father, and with his stepfather, also Eugene, they loved each other very much.

According to her mother, Vera grew up a trouble -free child - funny, cheerful, affectionate. She loved to dress up and attract attention. In kindergarten and school photographs, she is almost invariably in magnificent dresses with ruffles: he bowed, straightening her skirt, throwing her legs on a chair, looking thoughtfully at the book about Barbie. Vera was friends with girls and boys, forever a bit of everyone, and she didn’t particularly quarrel with anyone. She adored animals-she brought home a cat, learning that a Pekinez Zhuzh dog was sad. She put her mother under the pillow notes with confessions in love and wishes of a good day - even when she became a student and moved to Kemerovo.

In the faith there was childhood, which many found touching. She collected stickers with the Minions from Magnit, already being an adult girl: she liked everything sweet. She loved to say hello, ridiculously tilting her head and saying: "Saws." Now Oksana catches himself on what sometimes does.

Oksana Pekhteleva tells more about his daughter, as she shows. Many pictures and videos of faith have not been preserved: the phone and laptop of the girl her former young man Vladislav Kanyus broke the murder on the night. The forensic expert counted on the body of at least 56 influences of a different nature - traces of strangulation, cut wounds left from a knife, broken bones, bruises.

When the faith was buried, her parents did not immediately manage to choose her clothes. They wanted to put in a coffin in the outfit of the bride - so often do with young unmarried women. But in the wedding salon, all dresses were either with a neckline or with bare shoulders. As a result, Oksana bought the most closed outfit, which was found in the store - Muslim. Even in the hands of faith they put on gloves so that the torn nails were not visible.

On the day of the funeral, Oksana and Evgeny Pekhteleva did not recognize their daughter in the person lying in front of them. They began to shout: "This is not our girl, give our child!" The make -up artist restored Vera's face for four and a half hours, but it still did not look like. An employee of the ritual service bureau approached Oksana and whispered: "Do not touch the face, do not touch your hair, head." In the back of the skull, as Oksana recalls, nothing is left.

Vlad drives again

According to relatives and acquaintances, sociability in faith was combined with some stubbornness-if she decided something for herself, it was almost impossible to dissuade her. This has been manifested more than once in her relationship with Vladislav Kanyus.

They met in 2016 in Kiselevsk. According to Parents and Friends of Pekhteleeva, Kanyus was very different from her previous, beautiful and friendly guy: he was gloomy and unconstered; Getting acquainted with Oksana, barely said a few words. His parents parted when he was a child; The boy remained to live with his father, Roman Kanyus. He lived in the same house with the father of faith. In 2011, Roman Kanyus stole a mobile phone from the store, and after that he shot himself from a gun.

After graduating from nine classes, Vlad Kanya quit his studies. Several times, even before meeting Vera, he got into the troubles - a couple of times he was detained for resistance to the police, once again - for petty hooliganism. In Kemerovo, he moved with Vera and lived with her in the apartment, for which her parents paid. At one time he worked as a loader, then sold alcohol, but did not find constant work. Vera studied and, as Oksana Pekhteleva says, in parallel she provided life - washed, stroked, cleaned.

“We constantly argued because of him,” says Oksana. - Well, how did you argue? All the time I tried to reach her, waited for her to form. "

Similar things tell about the kanyus and his relationship with Vera and the girlfriend of the girl: laconic, vicious, gloomy. “In principle, she did not particularly spread about him,” says Kristina Minakova, a girlfriend in the “Avoski”, who studied with Pekhteleva at the university. -said some ordinary things. “Here, Vlad and I quarreled,” “Here, as always, he drives.” To another friend, Kira Egorova, Vera sometimes talked about quarrels. Usually they happened when Kanyus talked and drank with friends, after which he "behaved inappropriately." The fact that relations lasted several years, and friends and parents of faith explain her by the desire to save other people.

In the fall of 2019, Vera nevertheless decided to part with the boyfriend-and informed her mother on the phone. "Mommy, here it happens that you wake up in the morning, and you immediately, in one fell swoop, a reassessment of some situation takes place?" She asked, and then refused to tell Oksana details, saying that she needed time to recover. Now the mother thinks that then Kanyus first hit her.

Apparently, something like this was like that. Shortly before the breakup, Vera told Kira Egorova that Vlad had greatly pushed her during a quarrel. Soon she moved to the hostel. Egorova recalls that Vera tried to leave “in a good way”, retaining human relations with a former partner. The former boyfriend remained to live in the apartment - it turned out that the rent was already paid several months in advance.

Kanyus did not want to part. On New Year's Eve, he arrived in Kiselevsk after the former girl, he constantly called her. Vera did not pick up the phone. Then Kanyus began to write her mother in WhatsApp - he made compliments Oksana, congratulated on the holidays, said that they had to continue to communicate. Oksana was outraged: “I wrote to him, you have not congratulated me for several years, neither on my birthday, nor on March eight. Such a duplicity infuriates me. She said, leave me with Vera alone, you are not the hero of her novel. ”

According to Kira Egorova, especially closely communicating with Vera, shortly before her death, when the girl was in Kiselevsk during the January holidays, Kanyus met her on the street. He invited him to his home, and then refused to let go and began to threaten. As a result, she still managed to break out-and that evening, as Egorova says, Kanyus wrote to her already, saying that she was worried about Vera, who escaped from his apartment and ended up on the street in a dysfunctional district. A friend suggests that in fact, Kanyus with her help I wanted to know where Vera is. Other close to Pekhteleva do not know about this case - but they recall that in New Year's days the girl looked depressed.

On January 13, 2020, Vera Pekhteleva drove into her Kemerovo apartment to pick up a laptop - he was needed to prepare for the exam. Kristina Minakova was preparing for him-and she called her friend to discuss something. When they said, Minakova heard someone turned on the TV nearby.

- Vlad, do it quieter! - asked Vera.

He shouted something back.

In a half -whisper, Vera told Christine into the phone:

- Yes, Vlad is driving again.

Then she asked: "If I write to you, react." And she didn’t write anything.

On the same day, Kira Egorova was to call into the apartment - to help Vee transport the remaining things. Vera asked her to write more often so that Kanya understood that the girl was waiting, and did not detain her.

After some time, Egorova went into the porch and went up to the apartment of Vera. For about an hour she stood at the door - knocking, asked her friend to go out. She did not react. Kira looked into the keyhole - and saw the silhouette of Vera. It seemed that everything was in order with her. Having experienced at the same time relief and irritation, Egorova left home. Since then, she has to tell this story since then again and again - then to the investigation, then to journalists. The girl still considers herself indirectly guilty of the death of her friend and scrolls alternative scenarios in her head: what would happen if she acted differently?

On January 14, at 4 hours 55 minutes, the head of the shift of the on -duty part of the Kemerovo police department “Leninsky” Mikhail Balashov received a message from the duty unit: in the apartment 738 at the address of Leningradsky Prospekt, house 28, a fight takes place and female cries are heard.

Screams were heard from behind the door from three in the morning. They were heard by a neighbor Natalya Oshchepkova, when she returned with her husband Denis home from guests - the old New Year was celebrated. The Oshchepkovs decided to wait - suddenly the noise subsides; And when he did not stop, they made sure that the sound was coming from the apartment 738. Together with a female cry, a knock was heard - as if the girl tried to get out of the apartment.

The Oshchepkovs began to knock, but no one opened them. The girl began to call for help. Natalia called 112.

-We would call the police, here the neighbors have some kind of massacre. The girl yells, straight hysterically.

The operator replied to Natalia that the call was handed over to the employees, and the crew “for the proceedings” would be sent to the address.

Screams "aa-ah !!" And "No, no, no!" They heard not only the Oshchepkovs. Near the door to the apartment 738, neighbors began to gather from other floors. There was no police. The Oshchepkovs and their neighbor Sergei Baliev was recruited again and again 112. For an hour and a half, they called this number seven times. The operator replied that the outfit was already sent, and when they arrived, it was unknown.

The screams of Vera Pekhteleva are also heard on the recording of one of the calls to the police.

- Girl, so you hear her yelling behind the door? - asks one of the neighbors.

-What should I do? - the operator answers

- Where is the police, *****?

“Why are you talking like that?”

-How do I open the door? There they will kill her today, *****!

- The police will come. No need to swear!

Around the same time, the elder brother of Vladislav Kanus Svyatoslav with a friend, Vadim Tummandev, appeared at the door. In Kemerovo, they were traveling for three hours from Novosibirsk. The Police of the Tummadeev will tell that Svyatoslav Kanyus raised him at night, asking for help. Already in the car, Kanyus explained: the younger brother seriously quarreled with the girl; He is afraid that Vlad can harm her. The screams from the apartment 738, as the Tummandev recalled, were heard even from the street.

Young people climbed the floor where the neighbors had already crowded. They were waiting for the police, there was no police. No one reacted to a knock. Kanyus-Sr., according to Tummandev, suggested breaking the door-and in the middle of the night they went for a crowbar, which managed to borrow "at the watchman in the parking lot." According to Denis Oshchepkov, immediately after Kanyus and the Tummates left, female cries stopped. A male voice was heard: "Vera, forgive me, I love you." Returning, Svyatoslav Kanyus called his brother (how often they talked before, is unknown). On the phone, he admitted that he killed Vera.

Kanyus-Sr., Tummans and residents of the entrance jointly broke the door. Inside the flakes, he saw a dead faith in Pekhtelev. Tummadeev saw blood stains on the walls. Vlad found Vlad in the bathroom; He was drunk; He had a kitchen knife in his hands.

The face of Vera, according to the memoirs of Tummandev, was orange in color, in gloomy stains of blood. Later, forensic examination found that Vera Pekhteleva received the first damage six hours before his death. Kanyus beat her, strangled her with a cord from the iron, cut it.

At about 6 in the morning 20 minutes, Natalya Oshchepkova again called 112 and said: she had already called the police earlier, but no one arrived, and the girl she spoke about was dead. The deputy company commander of a separate battalion of the Police Police Service Alexander Ikhkin went to the apartment-in his car. Soon the traffic police and then investigators and forensic experts also arrived. Vladislav Kanyus was detained.

The variety of traumatic objects

“This signal is from ***** skiing,” said Mikhail Balashov when he received the first message about what was happening on Leningradsky Prospekt.

He turned to the Russian Guard and received the answer that all the available cars were checking the alarms that worked in the city. Both traffic police crews were also busy: one issued a drunken driver, the other was on duty at the airport on the orders of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the region. Никаких указаний от Балашова по вызову с Ленинградского проспекта Тарицын не получил — и тоже не стал никого отправлять.

Когда выяснилось, что Веру Пехтелеву убили, полицейские забеспокоились. К тому же сотрудники группы немедленного реагирования сказали, что могли бы выехать на вызов, если бы он был срочным. Балашов должен был знать, что никаких проблем с дозаправкой нет — он сам в прошлом неоднократно отдавал соответствующие распоряжения. Почему в этот раз он решил просто лечь спать, неизвестно.

В те минуты, когда только стало известно, что женщину на Ленинградском проспекте убили, оперативный дежурный Мария Дунаева начала плакать. Когда коллеги спросили, что случилось, она ответила, что переживает «за Мишу Балашова». После этого Дунаева стала еще раз обзванивать все службы, чтобы те срочно выехали на место преступления.

После всего случившегося против Балашова и Тарицына возбудили уголовное дело. Балашов отказался признавать вину; ни одного из полицейских не отстранили от работы даже на время расследования. Когда через год следователь Землянко передал в прокуратуру обвинительное заключение, выяснилось, что, сочтя полицейских виновными, он квалифицировал их действия по статье о халатности без значительных последствий. Максимальное наказание по ней — штраф до 120 тысяч рублей или исправительные работы. Вторая часть той же статьи Уголовного кодекса — халатность, повлекшая по неосторожности причинение тяжкого вреда здоровью или смерть человека — предусматривает лишение свободы на срок до пяти лет. Государственный обвинитель попросил переквалифицировать дело на первом же заседании суда.

Против Владислава Канюса возбудили дело по части 1 статьи об убийстве — она предусматривает от 6 до 15 лет лишения свободы. В мае 2020 года адвокат семьи Пехтелевых Илья Большаков попросил следствие переквалифицировать действия Канюса на вторую часть статьи — «убийство, совершенное с особой жестокостью» (от 8 до 20 лет тюрьмы). Старший следователь удовлетворил ходатайство, но дело так и не переквалифицировали. 11 марта об этом ходатайствовал в суде уже государственный обвинитель.

Семья Пехтелевых год не предавала убийство Веры огласке. Пехтелевым было тяжело говорить о смерти дочери. К тому же они до конца надеялись на то, что добьются переквалификации статьи до того, как начнутся суды. Сменить тактику они решили, только когда увидели обвинительное заключение. Подруги Веры запустили петицию о переквалификации дел (на момент публикации этого материала под ней более 120 тысяч подписей) и начали писать блогерам. Делом заинтересовалась правозащитница Алена Попова — соавтор пока не принятого законопроекта о профилактике домашнего насилия и соосновательница сети взаимопомощи для женщин «Ты не одна». В СМИ были опубликованы видеозаписи происходящего в участке, на которых Балашов не отправляет наряд, и аудиозаписи телефонных разговоров: соседи просят прислать полицию, дежурная обсуждает с коллегой, что «баба верещит дурниной» и добавляет: «Ладно, все хорошо».

Суд по делу Балашова и Тарицына начался в Кемерово 26 февраля 2021 года. Адвокаты полицейских требовали закрыть процесс для журналистов, но судья им отказала. А потом удовлетворила ходатайство защиты о переквалификации дела — и оно отправилось обратно в прокуратуру.

Незадолго до этого начали судить и Владислава Канюса. Как и полицейские, он отказался общаться с журналистами, а на заседаниях в основном смотрел себе под ноги.

Вадим Тумандеев, который в день убийства рассказывал следствию, что знал о ссоре и что Канюс признался брату в убийстве, теперь изменил свои показания. На суде он рассказал, что поехал в полночь из Новосибирска в Кемерово «просто за компанию», о конфликте Владислава с Верой ничего не слышал, а когда вышел из машины, «были слышны обычные отголоски, характерные для многоэтажного дома». Происходившее между Пехтелевой и Канюсом Тумандеев назвал «обычной ссорой». Его словам не поверил почти никто из находящихся в зале суда.

— Вы сказали, это обычная ссора, — произнесла судья. — Что же такого необычного было, что люди встали ночью в будний день в коридоре общежития многочисленным образом, а вы побежали искать предметы, чтобы вскрыть дверь?

— Обычная ссора, — растерянно повторил Тумандеев. После этого он пробормотал, что отвечать на вопросы ему «уже тяжело психологически». Судья предупредила Тумандеева об уголовной ответственности за дачу заведомо ложных показаний. Он сослался на следователя, который сказал, что «лучше знает, как написать», — и ответил, что читал свои старые показания, но «в детали не вникал».

Сам Владислав Канюс оживился во время судебного заседания 2 марта дважды — когда его спросили, не возражает ли он против зачитывания данных экспертизы, и когда судмедэксперт, проводившая вскрытие тела девушки, рассказывала о характере повреждений и предположила, что ее могли душить несколько раз.

Отец Веры Пехтелевой Евгений заседание 2 марта провел за дверью — заходить внутрь и в очередной раз смотреть на Канюса ему было тяжело. На одном из предыдущих заседаний Канюс, как показалось Пехтелеву, намеренно провоцировал его — отпустил оскорбительный комментарий в адрес Веры.

Друзья Веры Пехтелевой утверждают, что до сих пор видят аккаунт Владислава Канюса в списке пользоваталей, просмотревших их сториз в инстаграме. Около двух недель назад Кристина Минакова обнаружила, что в «Одноклассниках» к ней в друзья добавился человек с именем Канюса и фотографией Канюса на аватаре. Запрос провисел около суток, после чего неизвестный его удалил.

«Судить меня дано лишь Богу, другим я укажу дорогу».

Крик в лесу

Через несколько месяцев после смерти дочери Оксана Пехтелева с мужем продали квартиру и купили новую.

— Я не могла смотреть на Верочкину комнату, — объясняет Оксана. — И не могла оставаться одна, начинала плакать. Я среди ночи просыпалась и видела Верочку, в свадебном платье.

В новой квартире уже постелили ламинат, поклеили аккуратные светлые обои, поставили мебель, но ремонт пока так и не закончен — им занимаются в свободное от работы и судов время.

После убийства Веры у Оксаны стали отниматься ноги. Правая не ходила совсем. На работе ей дали отпуск, чтобы смогла хоть немного прийти в себя.

— Потом я поняла, что обязательно нужно идти на работу, чтобы не сойти с ума, — вспоминает она. — Я слышала, как про меня говорили, чего она такая веселая ходит, в трауре надо быть. Но мне нужно делом заниматься, я не могу просто сидеть, сложа руки, и плакать. Я жить буду для родителей моих, для всех, кто меня любит, для Верочки. Сейчас у меня цель добиться справедливости.

Выдохнув, Оксана добавляет:

— Этот гад, он ведь не только Веру убил. Мы все после того, что произошло, в каком-то смысле умерли.

Евгению Пехтелеву, как и Оксане, теперь сложно оставаться в одиночестве — в голову сразу лезут мысли о дочери: «Сердце пополам рвется. Только подумаешь — и слезы льются-бегут». Когда он ездит в машине один, обязательно включает записи молитв — чтобы не сидеть в тишине. В угол с иконами у себя дома он поставил коллаж из фотографий Веры.

У деда Веры, отца Оксаны, после смерти внучки начались серьезные проблемы со здоровьем — он стал задыхаться. Бабушка до сих пор все время плачет. Муж Оксаны стал уходить в выходные в лес якобы за грибами — на самом деле ему, обычно сдержанному, нужно было прокричаться. Собака Пехтелевой некоторое время бросалась на улице ко всем, кто хоть немного напоминал Веру пластикой или тембром голоса.

Возле могилы Веры, как вспоминает Оксана, постоянно что-то происходило: то ее облюбовало семейство бурундуков, то прибилась бродячая собака, то вся могила заросла мясистыми грибами-коровниками. Грибы с кладбища собирать было нельзя, поэтому пришлось ждать, пока они сами засохнут, чтобы расчистить пространство.

На первый год Пехтелевы соорудили Вере большой, добротный крест — ставить ничего тяжелее нельзя: есть риск, что просядет земля. Когда потеплеет, они хотят заменить крест на гранитный памятник, который заказали у скульптора. На памятнике Оксана и Евгений попросили выгравировать: «Я река, я река, я живая река» — строчку из песни, которую Вера пела в шестнадцать.
