O'Connell later emphasized that the post was comic, and the users “simply did not read” the second tweet, although he was published a few hours after the original post.

The picture with the “wrong guy” cosplay is not the first to spread in social networks: in 2018, actor Zach Braff published it on his twitter. Charlie Todd later said to Reddit that they took the picture at the Know Your Meme party in the New York Museum of a moving image, where they exhibited a gallery of memes.
