In Severodvinsk, a mother of young children was fined after waiting 6 hours in court

In Severodvinsk, a participant in the action to protect the park, Maria Kreytor, was fined 10 thousand rubles. She spent about 6 hours in court, her young children were waiting for her at home. Kreytor herself informed OVD-Info about this.

Kreytor, along with another activist, was detained on March 9 in connection with their participation in the action on February 28 to protect the park from mass construction. On that day, there were no police in the park, but according to the documents, there was allegedly a policeman there and saw the offense, the activist said. She was charged with an article on organizing a mass stay of citizens that caused a violation of public order (Article 20.2.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The case had already gone to court, but it was returned to the police to correct the shortcomings.

On March 16, Kreitor was forcibly taken to court. The court did not accept the petition to adjourn the meeting in order to search for a defense counsel and familiarize with the case materials. The meeting did not actually take place until a few hours later. Kreytor was found guilty under Article 20.2.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses and fined 10,000 rubles.
