In Moscow, Yabloko City Duma deputy Sergei Mitrokhin, Moscow Hostel movement activist Alexander Zimbovsky, Novaya Alternativenaya correspondent Yelena Sidorenkova, and an unnamed member of the pro-Putin National Liberation Movement were detained near the Federation Council. The detainees reported this to the OVD-Info hotline.
All four were taken to the Tverskoy police station, according to Zimbovsky, he was "told on foot." The activist himself stood in a picket on housing policy with a poster "Senators, you yourself are making us homeless." Mitrokhin was nearby, and Sidorenkova filmed the detention. According to the detainees, the NOD activist is constantly holding a picket "for the fatherland" near the Council building.
A lawyer from OVD-Info Sergey Telnov went to the detainees.
