Reports were drawn up against an independent deputy and several residents of Novosibirsk due to environmental pickets

In Novosibirsk, the police drew up protocols on violation of the rules for participation in the action (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) against city council deputy Natalya Pinus and several other local residents. It is reported by Taiga.info.

Militiamen considered a series of single pickets of the defenders of a public garden in the Sovietsky district, part of which the authorities want to sell, to be an uncoordinated action.

Pinus wrote about her trip to the police department on Facebook. According to her, the protocol was drawn up for several more people, including the elderly.

“We have a powerful initiative group that holds these events and develops great activity. These people took to the pickets, which the police considered a mass event. But the fact is that even if a notice is submitted for this most massive event, it will not be approved due to coronavirus restrictions, ”Tayga.info quotes the words of the deputy.

• A series of single pickets took place on March 7 in the Novosibirsk Academgorodok (about 20 kilometers from the center). About 50 people opposed the sale of a large land plot for development. Residents want to leave and improve the square, which is now located there. The land in question was previously sold for more than 150 million rubles.
