After a little cooling, snowstorms and one “winter day” in St. Petersburg, warm weather will be established. In the city, the sun is expected to +8 degrees. The long -term forecast shows that in April it will only warm up - you can wait even +17.
The main weather forecaster of St. Petersburg, Alexander Kolesov, told Paper about the weather in the coming days and weeks.
The main weather forecaster of the St. Petersburg hydrometeorological center
- So far we have a little cooling. This, one might say, is the winter period - with snow, with minuses. In the afternoon [March 19–22] we expect both precipitation and wind. The 20th is generally the return of winter: cyclone, snow, snowstorms and decent wind-up to 15 meters per second (on the night of March 20, the hydrometeorological center expects up to –14 degrees in the suburbs of St. Petersburg, the day will be from –2 to –4 degrees-approx. “Papers” ).
Sustainable warm weather will begin in the middle of next week, about 23–24 on March. There will be an anticyclone. It will be warm during the day, the sun will look out. I think you can count on +5 ... +8 degrees. When [the city] warms up, somewhere and +10 can be. The lower threshold in the afternoon can be indicated at about +3 degrees.
It is possible that at night at the end of March there will be weak disadvantages. Because in the anticyclone always like this: it freezes at night, during the day the sun warms up significantly.
The long -term forecast shows that in April it will be warmer, warmer and warmer. These +3 ... +8 degrees will already become the main background of air temperature, which will constantly stay in the first decade of April. In the future, cold refunds are possible in separate periods, at some nights there can be about –5 ... –10 degrees. But in general - a warming course.
From mid -April will be +6 ... +11 degrees. On some days, the second and third decades will be +17 degrees. Whether there will be free -setting situations - it is impossible to predict: too long. They will be visible when approaching.
On the night of Friday, March 19, the temperature in St. Petersburg will drop to –10 degrees, on weekends it will already be two degrees below normal.
The past February has become the coldest in St. Petersburg since 2012. But the sun was more than in December and January taken.
