Later it became known that she was alive, but in serious condition. However, shortly thereafter, the UK announced her death. In total, there were 16 people in the tourist group, including 14 children.

In the place of the avalanche, according to the interlocutor of TASS, there could be a group of 15 people. The tourist group fell "under the collapse of a snow cornice" on an unequipped route, clarifies RIA Novosti with reference to the Investigative Committee. There may be victims among the tourists, said the head of Olenegorsk, Oleg Samarsky.
