On the afternoon of March 23, the first show of the full -length film “Major Thunder: Plague Doctor”, which was announced back in 2018, was held in Moscow. It is reported by TASS.

It was originally planned that the film founded on the comic could be released in October 2019. But, as the producer of the picture later said , then the project was completely restarted - he changed technical specialists, director and producers, the team rewrote the script. Now, as a director, Oleg Trofim is indicated.

Before the first show on VKontakte, they published the mini-series “Major Thunder: the robbery of online”-the prequel of the film. These are one -minute video in which the bandits are the leader, psycho and thug are preparing to rob the bank.
