The Altai prosecutor's office will check the violation of the rights of a mother of many children hospitalized after the picket

A mother of many children went to a picket in Barnaul and ended up in the hospital. She demanded from the governor the land assigned to her by law. The woman became ill, and she was hospitalized, now the prosecutor's office has begun checking.

“On behalf of the acting Prosecutor of the Altai Territory Alexander Fomin organized an audit on media publications about the hospitalization of a mother with many children after a single picket in Barnaul, the department said. “It follows from the reports that for a long time a woman cannot get a plot of land for the construction of a house, allotted to her by law.”

Elena Vorontsova, a mother of many children, held a solo picket in Barnaul on 23 March. She came out with a poster addressed to Governor Viktor Tomenko: "Tomenko, where is the land of large families."

The woman said that she lives in an emergency house, where the floor freezes in winter, and for five years she has not been able to get the land plot assigned to the family by law. At the same time, the guardianship authorities require her to improve living conditions.

“We can't achieve anything. I would like to know: does Tomenko live in the same conditions? My washing machine is frozen in the winter. They are indifferent to large families,” Vorontsova said. “When they take [my four sons] to the army, will they ask us under what conditions we raised them?”

During the picket, she became ill, eyewitnesses called an ambulance. The woman was taken to hospital No. 12.
