Tickets for the St. Petersburg Economic Forum have doubled in price - for a session with the participation of Vladimir Putin in 2021, you will have to pay 960 thousand rubles.
Forum organizers sell tickets in two categories - standard and premium. In 2019, a premium ticket (entitles you to participate in all events, attend a glider meeting with Putin and access to business communication zones) cost 410,000. In 2021, it costs twice as much - 960 thousand rubles. A standard ticket (without the opportunity to attend a session with the president and a business communication zone after it) costs 840,000 rubles in 2021 against 350,000 in 2019.
SPIEF this year will be held from June 2 to 5 in person, last year the event was canceled due to the coronavirus. More than 19,000 people from 145 countries of the world participated in SPIEF-2019, of which 1,300 guests were at the level of company heads, according to the forum website. Organization costs were estimated at 2 billion rubles.
In March, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Putin plans to take part in the forum this year.
