Alexander Davidovich Lipnitsky was born in Moscow in 1952, graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University, since the mid-1970s was published in periodicals, was friends with Peter Mamonov, Boris Grebenshchikov, Artemiy Troitsky, and participated in the organization of the rock festival "Tbilisi-80".
In 1983, together with Peter Mamonov and Alexei Bortnichuk, he founded the group “Sounds of Mu”, in which he played on the bass gitar until 1990. In addition, he worked with Brian Ino and other famous musicians, was a member of the groups “echo of mu” and “bunches of vineyards”.
In 1990-1993, Joanna Stingrei made a television program “Red Wave-21” , dedicated to rock music in the USSR and other countries, later led the television program “spruce submarine” on the “Nostalgia” channel and the transfer “Content” on the FM Finam radio station. The author of documentary films about Boris Grebenshchikov, Viktor Tsoya, Alexander Bashlachev, Peter Mamonov.
