The magistrate of the judicial district No. 299 in Moscow fined eight participants of the Municipal Russia forum. This is reported by MBKh Media with reference to the coordinator of the Human Rights Postcard Anastasia Burakova.

Forum participants were fined 15,000 each, found guilty under the article on “undesirable organization” (Article 20.33 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

“Daily entertainment for the next month for the lawyers of Pravozashchita Otkrytka is the case under 20.33 of the Code of Administrative Offenses for the Municipal Russia forum. The only "evidence" in the case is the report of Eshnik (an employee of the Center for Combating Extremism - OVD-Info ), who somehow believes that someone undesirable organized the event. The rest of the objective papers in the case refute this nonsense, but who cares, as they say, ”Burakova writes in her Telegram channel.

On March 13, police officers came to the Municipal Russia forum, organized by the United Democrats project and held at the Izmailovo Hotel. The security forces said that the event was organized by an "unwanted organization." According to OVD-Info, law enforcement officers detained more than 190 people at the forum, we published lists of detainees.
