Alexei Navalny has serious health problems . His back hurts a lot and his leg is taken away. While still in the transit chamber of the pre -trial detention center Vladimir, the politician appealed to the prison administration with a statement in which he set out the request to allow the invited specialist of the First IGMU named after I.M. Chenov conduct a medical examination "in connection with the presence of acute back pain." But he was refused.
After transferring to IK-2 in Pokrov, Navalny turned to medical assistance daily and demanded to allow a specialist to him. The colony administration invariably refused.
On March 19, the policy nevertheless examined the neurologist and wrote out an anesthetic: two Ibuprofen tablets on the day and the Ibuprofen ointment.
Meanwhile, on March 12, the FSIN college was held, on which the prison authorities boasted greatly by their successes. The director of the FSIN, Alexander Kalashnikov, in particular, reported that the prison population has doubled over the past 10 years. At the beginning of 2021, Russian colonies and prisons contained about 483 thousand convicts, suspected and accused that almost two times less than in 2010, when this figure was more than 860 thousand people.
At the same collegium, the Minister of Justice of Russia Konstantin Chuychenko also noted a double decrease in mortality in pre -trial detention centers and colonies. True, there is no information about what period such a decrease has occurred. If this is in 10 years, then it turns out, there is nothing to brag about at all: the number of prisoners decreased - the number of deaths decreased.
The last time specific figures about mortality in the FSIN system were publicly named two years ago - in April 2019. Then these figures were brought by Lieutenant General Valery Maksimenko, who in April 2019 served as Deputy Director of the FSIN, supervised prison medicine, and was arrested at the end of last year and is now in a prison cell in the criminal case on theft on state contracts.
In April 2019, following the results of the All-Russian meeting, the heads of the medical and sanitary units of the penal system (UIS) Maksimenko brought such numbers. In 2018, 696 prisoners died in colonies and prisons from HIV infection, 673-from cardiovascular diseases, 303 people from cancer.
Since 2019, the statistics of mortality in the FSIN system have not been publicized. And what is happening with Navalny involuntarily pushes the suspicion that
The work of the medical and sanitary units of the UIS is unlikely to demonstrate positive dynamics. Or maybe completely rolled back. There, where is hell in general.
Let us recall the 2009 year, when Sergey Magnitsky died in the Sailor Silence. Or 2010, when Vera Trifonova died in the same “sailor silence”.

Of course, both Magnitsky and Trifonov were not formally killed. According to documents, they died due to the complication of diseases.
37-year-old Sergei Magnitsky died on November 16, 2009 as a result of "heart failure." His death was preceded by numerous statements with requests for medical care. But Magnitsky invariably received the answer: “Go to the will, there you are to be treated, here no one is obliged to provide anything to you.”
I emphasize: Magnitsky was not even convicted, the criminal case, the defendant of which he was, has not yet been considered in court.
On November 16, in the extremely serious state of Magnitsky, the Sailor Silence was taken from Butyrka to the prison hospital of the SIZO. The ambulance team was not allowed for a long time; When the doctors came to Magnitsky, he was already dead. He died in front of an enhanced convoy of eight people.

The 53-year-old Vera Trifonova was also formally killed. According to pieces of paper, she died on April 30, 2010 from the exacerbation of a whole bunch of diseases, such as diabetes, diabetic nephropathy and chronic renal failure.
But before being in a prison cell, Trifonova coped with her diseases. And she died precisely because she was not provided with medical care.
The same thing is happening today with Alexei Navalny. The FSIN with a calm look will make it clear: politics tormented diseases that crushed him even before he ended up in the dungeons.
