In St. Petersburg, the police at the exit from the special detention center detained a citizen of Belarus Pavel Stanko. In the special receiver, Stanko was serving the arrest under the article on the organization of a public event without a notice (part 2 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) due to a video message recording to compatriots. This was reported by the Telegram channel "Piannits", the information was also confirmed by human rights activist Roman Kiselev.

The detainee is charged with a violation by a foreigner of the Rules of stay in Russia (part 3 of article 18.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). Now he and the lawyer are in OP No. 78 of St. Petersburg.

According to Kiselev, Stanko’s case will be sent for consideration to the Dzerzhinsky district court, but when there will be a meeting, it is still unknown.

The reason for the arrest of Stanko was a promotion, the participants of which sang songs with a BCHB symbolic (white-red-white flags and clothes), and one of them shouted “Freedom to Navalny”.

According to the police, 14 people conducted a “public picket without serving <...> notification in order to publicly express their opinion and the formation of the opinions of others in support of protesters in Belarus.”

On March 29, the Dzerzhinsky District Court of St. Petersburg did not expel to the homeland of a citizen of the Republic of Belarus Pavel Stanko. This was reported by "Apology of Protest" with reference to lawyer Olga Zeitlin.

The court found Stanko guilty under an article on violation by a foreigner of the Rules of stay in Russia (part 3 of article 18.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). He was assigned a fine of 5 thousand rubles.

The protocol said that the 33-year-old Stanko, “according to the information and reference resources of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, has not been on migration accounting at the place of stay since September 13, 2020, there was no information about leaving Russia, the Russian Federation has not left the territory of the Russian Federation last year last year” and did not fulfill “the obligation to register a place of temporary stay”.

In the protocol, Stanko asked not to decide on expulsion, because he believes, there he "could threaten the danger in connection that I was already brought to administrative responsibility for participating in a peaceful picket from Belarus."

• Together with Pavel Stanko, on March 25, the court appointed arrests to other video messages: Yegor Myakinnikov, Zhanna Galeeva and Yulia Stanko. On March 26, the court also arrested Vladimir Dragun. After the trial, the police also detained Yegor Myakinnikov: they also drew up a protocol under Part 3 of Article 18.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. On March 28, at the exit from the special receptionist, the police also detained Jeanne Galeev.
