In St. Petersburg, a citizen of Belarus Zhanna Galeeva was detained at the exit from the special detention center, who was released after five days of arrest because of her participation in the video. This was reported by the lawyer of the Apology of Protest Olga Tseytlina.
Galeeva was supposed to be released today from the detention center, but two and a half hours before that, the girl was taken to the police department. There, a protocol was drawn up against her under the article on violation of the rally legislation (part 2 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) in connection with the February 27 rally. The protocol says that on the evening of February 27, on Ligovsky Prospekt, Galeeva “held a public event in the form of a picket, the purpose of which was to draw the attention of others to the socio-political problem “Against the cooperation of the Norwegian company Yara with Belaruskali”.
The protocol also says that nine more people participated in the action along with Galeeva. Galeeva is left at the police station overnight until tomorrow's trial.
