A year ago, Vladimir Putin announced “non -working days”, introducing a strange weekend regime, clearly not provided for by law and unprecedented for all of us, because nothing like this had ever happened before. The next 12 months were for us, perhaps not the most difficult, but precisely the most strange in life. We went through the stages of the smirk (“all this is not worse than the flu” and generally happens somewhere abroad and will not touch us), to the stage of panic (“we all die”), through adaptation to this state (a person does not get a cockroach) to the current phase, when we, by and large, are still.
We promised ourselves to do the remotement of self-development and in the early days we rushed to watch all the series at once, read all the books in one gulp, tried to become polyglots, signed up simultaneously on several online courses, and also tried to disassemble and throw out all the trash from the house and not to gain extra pounds. All these good impulses most often did not end with anything and suffered collapse. The number of divorces increased, mortality jumped, but the birth rate increased - at least they say so. At first, we were disciplined in a discipline to sit at home, but then we slowly began to partisa.
The state took up the favorite thing: under the pretext of saving citizens from the infection, it began to be tyranny of the same citizens with social monitoring, fined the old women who went to the store, the mothers who risked to leave the porch with a stroller, because young children could not be without air, and created a crossroads in passengers. The authorities came up with several relatively honest and relatively illegal ways to collect our data, introducing a scattering of various permissions and developing total surveillance.
Our healthcare system has become the peak of the paradox of our lives. Because the medicine is Russian backward. Experiencing a shortage of qualified personnel, equipment, modern hospitals and drugs. And we saw all this in a complete terrible shine. But at the same time, our medicine coped with pandemia better than in many developed countries. Just because doctors were prepared for some kind of imaginary war in universities and we all live in a country that constantly fights-really or virtually. And the pandemic was actually the same war, only without weapons. But with a colossal number of victims and victims. And in this situation, we felt in our elements.
But, as in the real war, in Russia they did not particularly bother with honest calculations. Therefore, the degree of lies about the number of dead and sick here is one of the records all over the world. And in fact, we survived the pandemic with colossal losses. But human life has never been valuable for either the state or the people themselves. And hundreds of questions still show a significant percentage of people who believe in any conspiracyology, who do not consider coronavirus a big problem and thinking that all kinds of restrictions are redundant.
As a result, now we live an almost normal life and look, as at the crazy people, at the Europeans who have already announced the third wave, and in fact, so from the quarantine and have not left all these months. But we somehow live! The streets are not littered with corpses. And even vaccination goes sluggishly, because nonsense (if not rude) turned out to be stronger than fear. And we need a vaccine not so much to save ourselves, but to create a powerful propaganda effect.
But here we see that propaganda is the only product that can be produced in industrial quantities so that there is enough for everyone. The “satellite V” vaccine was, apparently, not so bad and not inferior to foreign counterparts. But we cannot make it enough. As with the Soviet regime, when doctors, engineers, designers also created unique products, but the Soviet planned economy could not provide them with everyone and everyone. Even if Europe, tired of quarantine, really wants to buy our “satellite” - we simply will have nothing to sell them!
But we have long known that the salvation of drowning people is exclusively a matter of themselves. Therefore, when non -working days after a month and a half of the imprisonment, despite the growth of the number of diseases and deaths, all were only delighted. The state was in no hurry to help business and citizens. Although now we will paradoxically learn that the state expenses in 2020 were record! And only the payment of 10,000 rubles per child was remembered, after which sales of phones worth up to 10,000 were immediately hurried. And the state also significantly increased reserves! How do they succeed? Probably just as we manage to survive, no matter what.
The pandemic first completely muffled the political life. And at the same time, all protest activities. What are the protests if we are sitting at home? But then public activity returned. In a bizarre pandemic form, which turned out to be even more profitable for the authorities. For example, now you can hold elections not according to all the rules - at least externally - but just how it hit. Voting, anywhere, as you like, for several days and consciously turning the democratic procedure into farce and trash. The virus is an excellent excuse for the ban on any forms of protest and even single pickets were outlawed. But all this does not interfere with the parades, collect stadiums in honor of the anniversary of the Crimea and convene people for voting for zeroing.
However, together, citizens with the authorities found consensus. Power does not help us overcome the consequences of pandemia, but it does not interfere with scoring on household restrictions. We ourselves do not need ourselves-what to expect from the authorities of mercies?
So we have lived this strange year. In fact, they lived as always. It’s just that everything appeared grotesquely, convexly and concentrated. And now we definitely have something to remember and tell the descendants. We had our own big “war”, even if you write this word in quotation marks.
