The Ministry of Internal Affairs will create an analogue of "public services" in Russia for migrants

In Russia, they will create a unified information platform for accounting for foreign citizens, which will allow migrants to receive public services in electronic form. It is reported by TASS with reference to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

We are talking about creating digital migrant profiles. They will contain information about the legal status of a foreigner, his biometric data, as well as information about the place of residence and work.

With the help of a digital profile, foreigners will be able to conclude labor relations with the employer, confirm their training, pay taxes and receive a newsletter about the upcoming completion of the deadlines in Russia.

Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that in 2021 a system will work in the department that allows you to exchange information between departments in real time, including this way it will be possible to check the medical certificates of migrants necessary to receive patents.

According to the latest official figures, the number of migrants in Russia for a year has almost doubled - to 6.3 million people. About a million of them have a residence permit or temporary resolution.
