In Chelyabinsk, sentences were sentenced to activists of the Stopgok movement

The Sosnovsky District Court of the Chelyabinsk Region sentenced Vasily Moskovts and Gamil Asatullin to the conditional terms of the Stopgok movement. They were accused of arson of the construction site of the Tominsky mining and processing plant on the night of September 10 to 11, 2017.

Muscovites found guilty of “incitement to commit a crime” (part 4 of article 33 of the Criminal Code), in “hooliganism” (part 2 of article 213 of the Criminal Code) and “intentionally damage to other people's property by arson” (part 2 of article 167 of the Criminal Code). The verdict is 2 years and 6 months in prison.

Asatullin for “hooliganism” and “attempt on arson” was sentenced to 3 years in a colony.

Together with them, the third person, Evgenia Medvedev, whom activists consider to be a provocateur, were condemned. He received the smallest term - a year and a half of conditional imprisonment.

Moskovets has already announced his intention to appeal the verdict.

The decision of the Sosnovsky court is the logical completion of the next round of the confrontation of Chelyabinsk residents with the Tominsky Mining and Processing Plant (Tominsky GOK).

The plant, against the construction of which in the capital of the Southern Urals there were many thousands of rallies (people believe that the enterprise will “finish” the already poor ecology of the region), while gaining a confident victory over the city.

The Chelyabinsk authorities make all decisions in favor of the beneficiaries of the GOK - the “Russian Copper Company”.

The court took a predictable position. Only the "convention" of punishment turned out to be unexpected.

Arson

Evening September 10, 2017.

“We arrived with Medvedev in a taxi to stop the village of Shumaki,” recalls Gamil Asatullin. - We went towards the Tominsky GOK. We reached the fences, hung posters on the barbed wire. After that, they went to the GOK, to the forest glade, where the stacks of the cut down forest stood. Not far from this place, Medvedev dug five bottles with incendiary mixture. We dug them, poured them for convenience into a five -liter bottle, and carried one bottle of Medvedev in his hands. We reached, I saw these huge stacks and began to hesitate, I wanted to abandon my plan. But Medvedev told me that if we do not do this now, then "I will not feel like a man." After that, I doused the stack of firewood in an incendiary mixture, Medvedev handed it to my lighter. And then I look, he walked away from me by 15 meters. I ask him, what did you go away, but he did not respond and almost disappeared from visibility, it was dark, half a first night. Meanwhile, I set fire to firewood and ran towards the forest, from where we went out into the clearing. At that moment I have not seen Medvedev anymore. And then the flashlights lit up from all sides. People began to yell, I was surrounded. I thought that I was pursued by GOK guards. I realized that I would not leave. I had a gas pistol with me, charged with noise cartridges, in a panic I ran once in the ground once. I ran in the dark 30 meters, and then fell. When I was on the ground, I realized that Medvedev had set everything up. I was caught up and began to beat, and then they were handcuffed. In addition to the collection, the guards of the Russian Copper Company participated in my detention in black uniforms.

Implementation

“It was then very hot,” says Vasily Moskovets. -The construction of the Tominsky GOK has just begun, the cutting of the forest continued. We had dozens of protests. Pickets passed almost daily.

In December 2016, we made an announcement in the VKontakte group: we are holding a picket in Sargazi. Evgeny Medvedev wrote that he wanted to meet, they say, the problem of Tominsky GOK is worried. I replied: come to the picket, get acquainted. He arrived. It was such a New Year's picket, everyone was in costumes of Santa Claus. Medvedev asked how he could help the movement, I answered him: hand out the leaflets, if you want to, take the same picket in your Korkino. He agreed, then wrote that he had handed it out.

Subsequently, Medvedev began to regularly appear on Stopgok shares, to appear on our shares.

“I met Medvedev in the summer of 2017 in a pizzeria at a meeting of activists of the Stopgok movement,” says Gamil Asatullin. -The provocateurs were often sent to us, somehow we calculated them. And then there is a direct obsession: they could not reveal Medvedev. We then did not understand what to do next. Then the construction of the GOK has already begun, the attempt to put up the tent camp failed. The Chop of the “Russian Copper Company” dispersed everyone, the activists were beaten, and the tents were cut with knives. We sat in a cafe and discussed what to do next. There was Medvedev, who, as it turned out, recorded our conversation. Then we met several more times with Medvedev. Then we visited the GOK construction twice, but we were not in place of the future arson. I still do not understand why I had confidence in him. Maybe because he, like me, Korkinsky. As a result, on September 9, 2017, Medvedev called me and offered to set fire to the stack of wood at the GOK construction site. I agreed, since this could not cause much damage, because it was raining for two days.

“After the detention in the forest, I was sent to the IVS by GOK,” says Asatullin. - When detaining, I had a concussion and a broken rib. The next day, the operative of the EE center Bogdan Krysin came to me. He participated in my detention and from the 11th passed in the case as a witness. He had no right to participate in investigative actions. The conversation was in the interrogation room. There were two more people with Krysin.

They threatened me with everything that is possible. They said that they will take a lot of the article, in the pre -trial detention center they would put in the cell to tuberculosis. I was in a semi -conscious state, they took advantage of this.

They forced me to abandon my lawyer Andrei Lepikhin. Then Krysin wrote a statement with his hand, which contained a reservation of Moskovets and me. I signed everything. I understood that this paper would not have legal force. So in the end it turned out. The court considered this statement unacceptable evidence. The next day, they invited a lawyer to me for their intended purpose. I asked the investigators and investigator to leave us alone. They left, and I asked the lawyer, explained to her that pressure was on me. He asked her to call my lawyer Andrei Lepikhin to come to me. She immediately understood everything, left the office and called to Lopekhin. Disappointed operatives came in, said: "Well, what are you, we agreed."

Flash drive

“They built everything in such a way that Medvedev allegedly disappeared during an ambush and returned to his home in their own states,” says Vasily Moskovets. - On Friday, September 15, 2017, the investigators allegedly managed to find him, broke into his apartment and voluntarily invited him to give out objects related to the criminal case. And Medvedev gave a rat flash drive with records of conversations, which he secretly recorded during meetings with the participants in the Stopgok movement. As a result, the examination of the records passed, and the expert concluded that there are calls for arson in Medvedev’s speeches, and not in mine.

- When the court began to hear Medvedev’s audio recordings, it turned out that the original could not be reproduced. Half the first record is clap - and broke off. What to do is not clear. The judge asks what we will do? The state prosecutor offers to appoint an examination and restore the record. Everyone agreed. They pretended that they restore, maybe they really restored. But another is more interesting. Medvedev assured everyone that he recorded all our conversations from crust to crust. But we met with him dozens of times, and he provided only 4 notes. And one more thing: all conversations begin in the middle, there are no introductory and final phrases characteristic of any dialogue. Each time in court I said that the notes were mounted: there is no beginning and end. If the records were complete, it would be reflected that I always said - “Guys, let's be cold -blooded” [We will not commit rash acts].

What does the Moskovets have to do with it

In October 2017, the police came with a search to Vasily Moskovts. Seized electronics. But a month later they returned, not finding anything valuable. Next time, Moskovka was called in the UK in the summer of 2018. The reason was the statement of Evgeny Medvedev.

- Medvedev wrote a denunciation that I was an extremist. Investigators began the audit. They checked, verified and wrote a refusal to initiate a criminal case.

In December 2018, the Moskovets announced the desire to participate in the competition for the post of mayor of Chelyabinsk. The next day, the investigator called him and invited him to his lawyer.

“Then I took things with me just in case,” says the activist.

The investigator announced Mosque about the initiation of a criminal case. Although the man was not at the “place of crime”, it did not become Alibi - he was accused of “incitement”.

Taking a decision today, Judge Askhat Zakirov nevertheless “showed humanism”: both Muscovites and Asatullina sentenced the prosecutor as a milder-“he had“ gone ”them a year and six months, respectively. Evgeny Medvedev was the only one to whom the judge gave exactly as much as the state prosecution requested.
