The court in Rostov-on-Don arrested the 66-year-old father of the director of the Corruption Fund (recognized foreign agents in the Russian Federation) Ivan Zhdanov-Yuri Zhdanov. He is suspected of excess of official powers while working in the administration of the village of Seekers in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The director of the FBK wrote about this in his telegram channel.
“The fact is that he recommended the head of the village as part of the housing commission to allocate an apartment to a woman under a social employment agreement. It turned out later that this family had already received a housing subsidy. The administration returned the apartment in court. That's all,” Zhdanov noted.
According to the director of the FBK, the criminal prosecution of his father is associated with his [Ivan Zhdanov] political activity. He also added that the location of Yuri Zhdanovo is unknown. “We are looking for a father in different pre -trial detention centers Rostov. Or maybe they already took it to Arkhangelsk. For me, this is the worst thing that could happen,” Zhdanov wrote.
Update: Yuri Zhdanov is in a pre-trial detention center-5 in the Rostov region, the Open Media reports citing lawyer Vladimir Voronin.
According to him, the wife of Yuri also managed to give her husband a medicine. Lawyers are preparing an arrest appeal.
