“Levada”: More than 30% of Russian doctors talked about the deficiency of doses of the vaccine from coronavirus
In Russia, 34% of doctors report a lack of doses of the drug for vaccination from coronaviral infection, follows from the data of the Levada Center sociological survey*.
At the same time, according to the study, the accessibility indicator of vaccination varies greatly from the region to the region. While in Moscow, the majority of doctors (64%) report the presence of free places (slots) in line for those who want to get a vaccine, in the Ural region only 15% of the doctors surveyed are convinced of the accessibility of mass vaccination.
At the moment, 5% of the population has vaccinated in Russia. The main reason for the low rate of vaccination in the country 52% of doctors called the negative attitude of Russians to vaccinations in general. 46% of respondents noted the distrust of citizens to existing Russian vaccines. Another 38% of doctors are convinced that the problem is the deficit of the drug in the regions.
Moreover, most doctors in the country are positively related to the most common vaccine - “satellite V”. 69% of doctors expressed their confidence in the safety and effectiveness of this drug. In relation to other vaccines, the trust indicator is lower.
For research, employees of the Levada Center, together with the professional community, “Doctors of the Russian Federation” interviewed 1850 medical specialists from 83 regions of the Russian Federation.
