A Scottish guitarist named Lily watched the sixth part of "Fast and the Furious" and noticed something strange - a shot in which Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson turn into children for a couple of seconds.
In this scene, Johnson's character, former Diplomatic Security Service officer Luke Hobbs, approaches illegal racing driver and criminal Dominic Toretto, played by Vin Diesel. According to the plot, Toretto and Hobbs are at enmity, but by the end of the film, specifically in this episode, they nevertheless conclude a truce.
In the scene, the characters are facing each other. Hobbs takes a step towards his former adversary and from the perspective turns into a baby in front of a huge Diesel. After that, the camera switches - and now Diesel's head seems tiny against the background of the giant Dwayne Johnson. The viewer can only clap his eyes and wonder what it was all about!
The first is the conscious choice of the cameraman or director to show that Hobbs and Toretto still did not become friends.
Second , Diesel and Johnson had a fight during filming and since then they hardly appear in joint scenes (in the video it is clear that they do not actually look into each other's eyes).
The third is the difference in height. Johnson's height is 196 centimeters, Diesel's height is about 178 centimeters (according to him, a little higher - about 185). Probably Diesel, the director or the producers did not want the actor in the frame to look noticeably smaller than the giant Johnson. Yet their heroes must pose a threat to each other.
Therefore, the cameraman had to shoot Diesel and Johnson from such an angle that neither of them looked significantly larger than the other. In the end, what happened was what happened: both, albeit for a few moments, turned into overgrown children.
