Russian Andrei Rublev made his way to the semifinals of the prestigious tournament of the Association of Professional Tennisists (ATP) of the Masters series in Miami, whose prize fund exceeds $ 4.3 million.

In the quarterfinals of Miami Open, 23-year-old Rublev, having the fourth sowing number, hardly defeated the 87th racket of the world-the 20-year-old owner of the courts of the American Sebastian Corda-with a score of 7: 5, 7: 6 (9: 7).

Earlier in Miami, Corda knocked out Russian Aslan Karatsev (17th sowing number) and Argentinean Diego Schwartzman (5) from the tournament grid.

Rublev first entered the semifinals of the Masters series tournament, where he will play against the Pole Hubert Hurkach (26).

The other semi-final pair was made up by the Italian Yannik Sinner (21) and the Spaniard Roberto Bautist-Autus (7), who in the quarter-finals defeated the second racket of the world of Russian Daniil Medvedev.
