Tomsk journalist will not be tried in a fake news case for his publications about coronavirus

The court in Tomsk for the third time refused, at the request of the prosecutor's office, to consider the case of fake news against Stanislav Mikryukov, a journalist from Moskovsky Komsomolets. According to the journalist, Siberia . MBKh Media.

A protocol was drawn up against Mikryukov on the abuse of freedom of the mass media (part 9 of article 13.15 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). On March 6, the court considered the appeal against another such refusal and upheld the decision made in the first instance.

Stanislav Mikryukov is being persecuted because of two posts on the Internet about the situation with the spread of coronavirus. He wrote in Moskovsky Komsomolets about an outbreak of infection in the clinics of the Siberian State Medical University, this information was confirmed by the operational headquarters of the Tomsk region.
