Marina Litvinovich, who visited detainees in special detention centers, was expelled from the members of the Moscow Public Monitoring Committee

The Public Chamber voted to expel human rights activist Marina Litvinovich from the members of the Public Monitoring Commission. She herself wrote about this on her Facebook.

In early March, members of the Moscow POC voted to expel Litvinovich from its membership. 22 people voted in favor, 7 voted against, and 3 abstained. The final decision was to be made by the Public Chamber of Moscow.

The issue of Litvinovich's expulsion from the PMC was initiated by one of the members of the commission, whose name has not been released, after an interview with the human rights activist on the Dozhd TV channel.

Litvinovich then spoke about how she visited Lyubov Sobol in the temporary detention facility on Petrovka, who was detained in connection with the case of “penetration” into the home of FSB officer Konstantin Kudryavtsev. According to members of the PMC, Litvinovich thus divulged the data of the investigation.
