The Commissioner for Child Rights in Kuzbass Dmitry Kislitsyn, leaving his post, said that he had lied in 2019, saying that there were no hungry faints in the region’s schools. Here's what he said on March 31 - on the eve of the holiday of fools and deceivers:

“All these cases were brought to the governor personally. We talked with him for a very long time, it was very important for him, and he, let’s say, was very upset. I went to meet and told the governor that I would speak with counterparting about hungry fainting. Then an interview was held, on which I only shook my head, and he said that the commission had checked everything.”

In 2019, schoolchildren from low -income families really lost consciousness from malnutrition. Two years ago, it was Kislitsyn who publicly reported this at the session of the regional parliament, but soon took his words back. And two years later he explained this not by cowardice, but by the fact that he entered the position of Governor Tsivilev, who, in exchange, promised to solve the problem of school nutrition. According to the ex-Ombudsman, Tsivilev did not fulfill the promise. Therefore, leaving his post, Kislitsyn again suddenly turned into a truth -seeker and confirmed that there were numerous fainting.

In addition, Kislitsyn said that he was allegedly stopped to allow him with an audit into the canteens of schools because of the order of the governor and Rospotrebnadzor. They say that, having lost his place, the ex-Ombudsman decided to make a political career (all the more so since the parliamentary elections) and, possibly, expects that a loud statement at a press conference will help him in this.

That is, there were fainting, then they were not there, and then they were again.

The former Governor of Kuzbass Aman Tuleyev, who led the Kemerovo region, was also invariably loyal to any undertakings of the Kremlin for more than twenty years and almost completely elaborated any manifestations of opposition at his possessions for more than twenty years old. Perhaps Tuleyev or one of his proteges also prepare for the upcoming elections.

And Siberian academics recently classified their own report that most Russian cities with a poor environmental situation are in Siberia. The founder of the Institute of Geology of Oil and Gas SB RAS Academician Alexei Kondorovich said that such data cannot be published by comparing it with the "bomb on the eve of the elections." They said so frankly: it is impossible, they say, to tell the people such unpleasant things at such a moment, suddenly they will vote somehow not for those.

It may seem that these are very different stories, about different characters. But there are common in these stories: Kislitsyn, Tuleyev, and academicians do not see anything shameful in lying or hiding the truth if they demand “state interests” (read: interests of the authorities). It is not even conscientious to publicly report that yes, we are modern. But "exclusively for the sake of the highest interests."

What is the governor with academics, the president himself is not shy about taking his words back now and then. Recently, Facebook reminded: Video of Putin’s interview, which he in 2008 gave the Ard TV channel. The journalist is interested in whether Russia claims to be Crimea and Sevastopol, and Putin replies: "Crimea is not any controversial territory ... Russia has long recognized today's borders of Ukraine." About the fact that Putin proclaimed himself the "guarantor of the Constitution" and how later he treated this constitution, what to say.

I foresee the objection: "Politicians lie in all countries." Yes, but not every country, such a lie not only does not interfere with the political career, but also contributes to it in every way. Not every country the voter is so tolerant to lies. In the "incident of Kislitsyn", after all, we are not talking about "evaluative judgment." We are talking about children who, by definition, should protect the children's ombudsman. The children lost consciousness from hunger? Here, either yes, or not. But, obviously, for officials and officials, however, this is what is currently beneficial for them. A kind of "new ethics" and "postraud". If Kislitsyn does not manage to play a map of the truth -seeker, he is not difficult to assume, he can again reconsider his attitude to the facts.

And the problem is not in Kislitsyn, but in a society that perceives such behavior as a "version of the norm." After the statement made by the ex-Ombudsman on March 31, several days passed, but even in local publics in social networks there was no flurry of indignation. Not to mention the fact that no one thinks to attract Kislitsyn to criminal or administrative liability, although because of his lies or, say softer, agreements were injured by children who continued to feed as it would work. In a healthy country, the recognition of kislitsin would mean self -disclosure, forever spoiled reputation and political death. And we have long been a deviation from the norm in politics for a long time even the most timid attempt to tell the truth.
