In St. Petersburg, a criminal case was opened on the illegal production and circulation of pornographic materials (p. "B, c" part 3 of article 242 of the Criminal Code). The police conducted searches in five webcam studios and detained 11 people, according to the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Investigative Committee .
According to the police, the studios were led by a 32-year-old resident of the Leningrad region.
The website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs specifies that the premises “contained the so-called private rooms, each of which was equipped with a software and hardware complex for a round-the-clock broadcast to the open spaces of the Internet of pornographic materials”. According to the police, more than a hundred models, including young girls aged 18 to 30 years, as well as seven administrators who controlled the process, worked in the webcam studios.
SK reports that accomplices earned at least 202 million rubles.
The 42-year-old assistant to the organizer of the studios was detained, the rest of the ten defendants were released on a recognizance not to leave.
The day before, investigators and police officers conducted about 30 searches, during which they seized a technique containing pornographic materials. About one of the accused, according to the UK, found a gun with ammunition.
