In relation to a resident of Kursk, lawyer Ivan Shurupov, a pre-investigation check is being carried out at the request of the military commissar. This is reported by the publication "The Edge".
According to Shurupov, he has a “non-conscription diagnosis”, which was notified by the military registration and enlistment office. “I am more inclined to believe that this [pre-investigation check] is connected with my activities to protect the interests of those detained at rallies [in January 2021],” Shurupov told a 7×7 correspondent.
- In March 2021, Shurupov represented in court the interests of 18-year-old Aleksey Belousov, who was detained for posting on social networks under an article on the demonstration of Nazi symbols (part 1 of article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
- In February, the lawyer applied to the Kursk Rospotrebnadzor with a statement about initiating an administrative case against Metropolitan German of Kursk and Rylsk. The reason for the appeal was the report of the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company "Kursk", in the video Ivan noticed a violation of sanitary and epidemiological rules during the Christmas service. Rospotrebnadzor refused to open a case.
- On April 7, Krai reported that the Leninsky District Court of Kursk granted the lawyer's complaint and sent the case back for retrial.
