The Bulgarian political scene after the elections to the People’s Assembly on April 4 resembles a building damaged by a hurricane

The parliamentary frontman with 12 years of experience is the Party of Prime Minister Borisov “Citizens for the European Development of Bulgaria” (coat of arms) barely earned a little more than a quarter of votes instead of the same third, receiving only 75 deputy seats. The heiress of the Communists, the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP), is experiencing the most impressive defeat in their history (15% of the vote, 43 places), having lost a long -term second position in parliament. But something else is humiliating for her - she lost, which is always very proud of the left, the honorable status of the main opposition force. Her executive bureau is disbanded.
The place of the BSP is convinced, but if you figure it out, naturally, the party intercepted - or rather, the formation "there is such a people." The deputies are not known to anyone who are going to sit down in the diverted ETT 51 chair, and the “king of the mountain” becomes the “king of the mountain” who came up with this platform for Slavs of the Trifons. Twenty years on the body made this two -meter figure with a shaved skull of their man in almost every Bulgarian house. And as a singer, the performer of the beloved national musical genre-Chalgi, who combines folk and pop music, and as a hard and ironic TV presenter, who created his very successful talk show according to American patterns, he bribed 17.6 percent voted, that is, almost every fifth. Moreover, not by the program, but by several simple ideas: to end corruption, to stop the dominance of oligarchic capital, to halve the number of places in parliament. The political reception has long experienced in Europe - we will oppose the establishment, and there it will be seen - in Bulgaria 2021, as you can understand, it worked.

Meanwhile, everything converges to the fact that the keys to the coalition government may be in the hands of the new political force. The crisis of the party system in Bulgaria is not accidental, but systematic. From the capable, but strongly compromised by endless accusations of corruption (both himself and the party), Prime Minister Boyko Borisov, the society is insanely tired - enough that Sofia had lost the coat of arms for the first time in 12 years. As for the BSP, she failed to tighten herself to the standards of European Social Democracy, instead trying to earn points on the demand for the abolition of sanctions against Russia-this did not happen.
Neither the BSP nor the ETT intend to be blocked with the coat of arms - this would bring them anything but a reputation failure. Three other winning parties (Plutskoye DPS-30 seats; “Democratic Bulgaria”, which will protect the interests of the city intelligentsia with the 27th deputy mandates, as well as the movement “rise! Mafia!”, 14 seats-this is what hundreds of thousands of people to protest against public and social injustices) will also collapse their nose from Borisov, although them Rhetoric has generally pro -European content.
Now Prime Minister Borisov persistently hints the “colleague”, as he calls him, to Trifonov, that in the interests of the nation, the mandate should be accepted for the formation of the government. Borisov is inferior to this procedure first of all in the hope of gaining 121 votes necessary in parliament so that at least a technical office can be made. The government crisis and new elections, which are theoretically not excluded, threaten Borisov with dark unknown.
This was repeatedly stated that they exclude the coalition both from the coat of arms and with BSP and traffic police. Now the first makes it clear that he is ready to provide ten of her votes in parliament to resolve the crisis, if necessary, and the other two speak of the possibility of “political support” of ETT, avoiding the term “coalition”.
Nevertheless, a week after the election of Trifonov continues to keep a substantive pause, without making public statements. He only wrote on Facebook that he would act “accordingly of the Constitution”, and in another post thanked all his supported “for trust”.

According to the commission, a total of 121.5 thousand people voted for the pro -Russian parties in Bulgaria - 1.79 % of the number of registered voters.

For many years it was exploited by political slys and scammers, the main driving force of which was not values and ideals, but a worship of the ruble. Take, first of all, registered as clearly the pro -Russian party of the head of the national movement of the Russophiles Nikolai Malinov, who was under trial for espionage in favor of Russia. He turned President Putin into the face of his election campaign (we are talking about the election poster with the handshake of two figures), and a few days before voting he also signed a “road map” about joint development with United Russia. It was Malinov, who continues the commentator who, for years, arranged noisy Russophilic rams and gatherings, shamelessly argued that 80 percent of the Bulgarians are Russophiles who prefer Putin, and not democracy. The results of the CEC indicate a dead point of public trust in Russophilian organizations. It would be good in Moscow, finally, they saw - despite the dollars and hybrid operations it spent, the Bulgarians have chosen a different path of development, and the Kremlin agents of influence act in wasted, the commentator concludes. However, the European Pravda portal writes , despite the actual defeat of the BSP, it will not be possible to completely ignore the Russian factor. The basis of foreign policy Boyko Borisov was the “geopolitical twine” between the West and the Russian Federation.
The new parliament of Bulgaria should start work no later than a month after the election. The current government has the same amount of time to replace it with another.
