Apple has sent out invitations to reporters for a new presentation. It will take place on April 20 at 20:00 Moscow time.
What exactly will be shown at the presentation is still unknown. The Verge writes that new iPad Pro models with an updated screen and a more powerful processor may be presented at the event. As well as AirTag trackers that can be attached to any object, for example, to a wallet or backpack, and in case of loss, find it using Find My technology.
In the fall of 2020, Apple held three presentations of its new devices. The first of them, on September 15, showed new watches and iPads, the second, on October 13, introduced new iPhones, and the third, on November 10, showed the new MacBook Air, 13-inch MacBook Pro and Mac mini.
Rumors that Apple is preparing to release AirTag have been appearing in the media for several years, but there has been no official information about the devices yet. On April 7, the company announced that it was opening up access to the Find My network for third-party manufacturers, with e-bikes, wireless headphones, and tracker key fobs among the first supported devices.
