A Moscow court ordered Google to unblock the Tsargrad YouTube channel.
The Moscow Arbitration Court satisfied the claim of the Tsargrad TV channel filed against Google due to the blocking of the channel's YouTube account. About this, according to Vedomosti, said the managing partner of Art de Lex Dmitry Magonya, representing the interests of the owner of the TV channel Konstantin Malofeev.
At the time of publication of this note, there was no information in the case card on the website of the arbitration court that the claim was satisfied. At the same time, the materials of the court say that on April 13 a hearing on this case was really to be held.
Valery Rukobratsky, a spokesman for Konstantin Malofeev, told Interfax that the court satisfied the lawsuit against Google in full, ruled to restore the Tsargrad account, and also invalidated Google's refusal from the agreement to monetize the content posted. “That is, this means that they must return the money to us for monetizing our content,” Rukobratsky said.
Google has not yet commented on the court's decision.
Dmitry Magonya explained that if Google fails to comply with the court decision after it comes into force, the American company will be charged a penalty in the amount of 100 thousand rubles a day.
