To date, the market is full of various types of dyes type 1 , which differ in its properties. Most often, acrylic latex, silicate and silicone paints are used in home repair work. And now about each of these types of them in more detail.
Acrylic latex paints
These are leaders in popularity among all similar colors. According to experts, high -quality coating is obtained thanks to two layers of this paint applied to the surface.
In this case, the DEKSO 5 coating becomes quite elastic and can close small cracks. If there is a need to make a coating that should become high -quality and resistant to pollution and will not meet high standards in vapor permeability, then the use of such paint is most logical.
If the coating should comply with high vapor permeability standards, it is recommended to work with silicate or silicone paints.
Silicatical paints
They are mainly used for application to mineral surfaces (mineral plasters, surfaces previously painted with cement paint). When working with this type of paint, experts advise covering the stained surface with silicate primer to color.
Unlike acrylic paints, in silicone elasticity is much lower. They are not able to block small cracks. But silicate kraskok has high vapor permeability. Therefore, they are used to stain very old buildings, whose walls are poorly protected from groundwater.
Silicone paints
Experts assure that this type of colors combined the best characteristics of acrylic and silicate colors. First of all, it is worth highlighting such a property as vapor permeability. It is almost identical to silicate colors. But there is a difference that consists in the formation of a waterproof film. This film does not lead to surface stresses on the substrate. This is very important when plastered surfaces are stained.
Flutex 10 acrylic polymers can be softened when the temperature rises. Silicone resins do not have this quality.
The surface that was painted with such paints is almost not contaminated. This type of paints is ideal for almost all mineral surfaces. Also, silicone paints can be mixed with other paints (acrylic latex, mineral).
If you need to repaint outdated silicate coatings, then for this work, silicone paints are perfect.
How to choose?
The type of room in which the repair will be affected affects the choice of paint. If the plans for working in the bathroom, then a paint that has powerful moisture resistance is required. Such paint can also be suitable for work in a living room, but such a measure is not profitable from an economic point of view. After all, you are unlikely to wash the ceiling in the room. A cheaper paint intended for dry rooms will also come here. Conversely, a cheap option is not suitable for staining the ceiling, for example, in the kitchen.
There are a lot of colors, and before buying, consult with the seller.
The paint should be applied to a pre -prepared surface using a brush, roller or spray gun. Prior to this, the ceiling should be disgusted. Use
Divorced water-dispersion paint. Thanks to this action, insignificant defects will be revealed, which are difficult to see on the surface, which is already plump, but not painted. Having carried out the coating with putty and grinding difficult areas, you can proceed to stain the ceiling with undiluted paint.
