Cherepovets: A resident was fined for a comment on VKontakte

The Vologda court fined five thousand rubles a 53-year-old resident of Cherepovets for insulting on the VKontakte social network, the United press service of the region’s courts reports.

On the night of January 18, a woman published a comment on her page under a photograph of a horse. Comment with insults was addressed to a friend. The victim in court said that the police turned to the police for the first time, although insults to her have been received for a year.

At first, the woman published offensive comments in the public of the victim, and later, when access to the group was closed, she began to leave notes on her page. The victim asked to strictly punish the offender, as she did not apologize to her.
