The Russian government will expand the "Far Eastern Hector" to the Arctic

The Russian government will expand the Far Eastern Hectare program to the Arctic. The program allows you to get land for free, including for doing business.

According to the head of government, Mikhail Mishustin, entrepreneurs have long been asked for the expansion of the program. Mishustin noted that such measures will allow to master the unused territories of the Arctic.

The head of government emphasized that citizens will be able to take land plots according to a simplified procedure. Particular attention will be paid to the preservation of the traditions and culture of the indigenous peoples of the North, Siberia and the Far East, Mishustin said.

The law on the provision of lands in the Far East for the Russians for free for five years has been in force since 2016. Five years later, the plot can be leased or property. If the territory is not used, then it can be removed.
