The patient in Mari El died in anticipation of doctors. They rode on a sleigh

Mari El authorities began to check after the death of a woman who did not wait for ambulance doctors, since they had to get on a horse -drawn wagon. This was reported by the "Raise" publication. The incident occurred on March 27, but on April 15, neither the Ministry of Health nor in the local administration knew about this, journalists say.

The ambulance was traveling to a 46-year-old resident in the village of Paimyr. Relatives of the deceased said that at about five o’clock in the evening she felt pain in her heart and caused an ambulance. There is no road to the village along which the car can drive. Doctors left the car in one of the settlements and hired a sleigh with a horse. As a result, doctors arrived at about nine in the evening, when the patient had already died.

The village of Paymyr is located about 170 kilometers from the capital of Mari El, the city of Yoshkar-Ola. According to the "rise", local residents say that what happened is not the first such case in the region.
