The tragedy in the Taushankov family occurred almost a year ago. Their son, 27-year-old Vladimir, shot the special forces of the Russian Guard during the assault on his apartment on the night of May 31 to June 1. The investigation of the incident continued for ten months. Initially, it was assumed that the court would be closed when we are talking about medical information, although earlier the results of the forensic medical examination have already appeared in the press. Parents and defender questioned these conclusions, since the deceased did not drink alcohol, drugs and potent drugs, never registered with a psychiatrist.

How did the events develop June 1

On the night of June 1, Vladimir Taushankov was killed in his apartment by the Rosguard special forces.

According to law enforcement officers, the man stole four rolls of wallpaper from the store. At Taushankov, a skirmish with staff, as well as a conflict with Pavel Davydov, a police officer in civilian clothes, who also came to the store for wallpaper, took place at Taushankov. They tried to detain him, but Vladimir showed an object similar to a knife, and left a quick step. In pursuit of Davydov, a guard and a janitor of the store. Halfway between the house and Taushankov’s household, he caught up, he abandoned the wallpaper and fled. The wallpaper was picked up by the pursuers.

Later, the police brought his parents to his apartment. Vladimir let his father go, and aside the opera, who tried to go after, through the barely open door sprayed from the pepper spray. Taushankova’s mother, who remained with the police in the entrance, quickly went to her home for a duplicate of the keys. How the investigation was carried out

Initially, a strange story became even more confusing the next day, when all law enforcement agencies without exception refused to comment on what was happening. The silence of official structures lasted almost two days, then the press service of the Russian Guard finally issued its version of events.

Taushankov “resisted police officers who arrived at the place, ran out with a knife and applied a spray can of liquid, which caused injuries to the operative who tried to detain him, who later required medical care, the Rosgvardist statement was written. - After ineffective negotiations with the participation of the suspect’s father, a decision was made to conduct a special operation to detain a citizen. At the entrance to the special forces apartment, the suspect held in his hands a subject directed in their direction, outwardly similar to automatic weapons, expressed threats to the staff of the collection and behaved aggressively.

As a result of the current situation, perceiving his actions as a really dangerous situation, they decided to open fire. ”

In addition, as part of the official press release, the department casually mentioned that Taushankov was convicted of drug trafficking, which was immediately refuted by the parents of the deceased and their lawyer. Despite the fact that information about the criminal record was not true, none of the Russian Guard was apologized to the parents.

Among other things, the testimony of police officers and Sobrovtsev about entering or not going to the apartment do not agree. According to the initial information, the Rosgvardists did not go into the apartment before Taushankov’s shooting. Seven bullets towards the deceased were allegedly released from the entrance to the open opening of the front door at an angle. Four of them stuck in the door, three - killed Taushankov. From this situation, the firing special forces could not see either, possibly, directed in their direction of weapons, nor the suspect himself.

Were there any “threats expressed”?

Lawyer Bushmakov filed a statement on the verification and initiation of a criminal case on the murder of special forces by Vladimir Taushankov. He was refused, and the Leninsky District Court of Yekaterinburg did not find signs of inaction of the Investigative Committee of the SK in the Sverdlovsk region. But in relation to the deceased, two criminal cases were posthumously launched: under Article 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Robbery” and under Article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Causing harm to the health of a representative of power”.

In addition, it became known that police officers immediately after the murder of Taushankov conducted a search in his apartment, without legal grounds. On June 3 of last year, the Kirov court of Yekaterinburg confirmed this fact.

In court, the investigator of the police department No. 2, despite the support of the prosecutor's office, was not able to prove the expediency of the search.

According to the posthumous forensic psychiatric examination, the results of which were announced in December 2020, Vladimir Taushankov was recognized as insane at the time of robbery, so he did not give a report to his actions.

According to Alexei Bushmakov, a lawyer “Zone of Law”, this conclusion of the examination is very convenient for investigators. They invited Taushankov’s parents on the basis of this examination to close criminal cases, initiated against their son. Parents did not agree and signed a document that they were asked to investigate the case further in order to eventually send to the court for trial.

According to the results of the ballistic examination, five Rosgvardists participated in the assault, among them were two snipers. They asked to hide their names for security reasons.

Parents of Vladimir Taushankov do not believe in the objectivity of the investigation and the Russian court and have already appealed to the European Court of Human Rights.
