The court terminated the case against activist from Plesetsk because of a single picket in support of Navalny

The Plesetsk District Court has terminated the case against the local civilian activist Anna Stepanova, on which they made a protocol due to a single picket in support of the politician Alexei Navalny. She herself told the OVD-Info about this.

Stepanova went to a single picket on January 20 in the city of Mirny ( but ). The next day, it drew up a protocol for a “coronavirus” article on violation of the increased readiness regime (part 1 of article 20.6.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

Stepanova requested a meeting at the place of residence, the case was referred to the Plesetsky District Court. The court did not find an administrative offense in Stepanova’s actions and terminated the case. The interests of the activists in the court were represented by the defender Oksana Vladyka.
